Kandarhrin, pronounced Kandarhrin with the stress on the second syllable, a long 'a' and a throaty, rolling 'rhr' sound. Easily shortened to Kanda for shoutboxing and the like too.

Both names to me feel unisex and somewhat unplaceable ethnically which make for a useful internet handle when I so often feel both unisex and culturally lost and wish to disclose both and neither simultaneously.

I love names with good mouthfeel, which hint to other times and cultures but truely fit nowhere. This can also be seen I hope with the names of some of my pets. Sothric in particular is a favourite of mine.

I may be changing my username here at some point however as I recently noticed a striking and previously overlooked similarity that, when mispronounced, it has with a part of my life I wish to put behind me. Its funny how the brain can do that to you, isn't it?

The name has been with me since 2002. I was a big buddy (mentor to an elementary school child). She was on a virtual pet site and kept talking to me about it. I joined to understand what she was talking about. I winded up choosing a name that was cute and reflected my love of tea as I was training to be a high school teacher at the time. The name itself was already taken so the site suggested the numbers, which I liked since they were easy to remember. Most don't know my real name and I find it odd if they use it online. It's become an additional name I'm used to :)

Remarkably, the child didn't keep up with the site and I stayed for more than a decade. I eventually came here and my name followed... it's part of me. Plus, my tea collection has expanded to the point it needs a cupboard on its own :P

My username: MerlinPendragon. Well I made this username inspired by the BBC TV Series- Merlin. The main character is Merlin, the legendary wizard in his youth and Arthur Pendragon is the prince of Camelot. Since they got along so well and I was literally obsessed then with the series (unfortunately it ended years ago) I decided to use the name MerlinPendragon joining the wizard's name with the prince's last name. This was not my original username but the first I had a lot of trouble with for the way it was written so I changed it. (My first username was Aiko. with a dot in the end and it was a nightmare).

I choose Dragonfly_angel back when I was in school. The reason is because I love how beautiful dragonflies and angels are. i'm deciding on changing it to Kitshanta because I made that name up when I was 13 14 years old and I wanted something unique

Mine is just a nickname from high school. One time my friends sandwiched me in a hug and said “Shannon Sandwich! Shannwich!” And it stuck as a nickname.

My username came about many years ago because I was trying to quit the habit of taking my cheesy Sonic OC-name as alias, since I realized it gave people a lot of preconceptions (most of them negative) about me just from the username. I had a thing for the Hammerfall song Renegade and it was simple enough while still tending not to already be claimed as a name so I chose it and stuck with it during my time in fandom communities. Now that I'm trying out these kind of communities again I decided to readopt the name - it really grew on me, even if I've grown lukewarm about the song that first inspired me to take the name.

My username was originally marionettex, I've been that on a few sites now so when I joined up here I just went with it. Recently I started binge watching Community again and I love it when Jeff calls Annie Milady. When I saw it was free on here I jumped on it haha.

My username is pretty simple and kind of silly! I like the corgi dog breed, even though I don’t have one. “Beans” refer to the “toe beans” of a dog’s paw. It’s a bit strange but I couldn’t really think of a good username, and mainly all my usernames for sites are different.

my username is an Afrikaans woord for a rosebud, but Ive used this username in many games because it was the name my sisters first child called my mother (her grandmother) She is still today calling her ouma roosknop.. (translated to grandma rosebud in english) I live in south Africa and speak Afrikaans as first language

My user name was based on an old video game called Turok Dinosaur Hunter. A while back an advanced version was talked about called Turok A.I..., Turokai. It sounded vaguely like an Anime character to me, and I loved it at the time. I've considered changing it, more frequently lately, to something more like my art gallery pseudonyms.

Hello! My username is what I default to on basically any online game. When I was in high school I decided I needed a nice username, and my favourite animal is the rabbit so I wanted that to be part of the name. I asked my friends to help me brainstorm some adjectives to describe me and one of them said "Quirky, definitely quirky" and so my online identity became QuirkyRabbit. Part of the reason I like it is because both halves have 6 letters. I wouldn't change it for the world! :D
