I could read this thread all day, it is so cool to see the history behind some usernames I've seen around the site for years.

Mine is just my IRL name, pretty plain, but it has a slightly unique spelling so I've noticed it is sometimes still available on websites that use unique usernames. Shoutout to all of us with names that end in i! knows haha. :)

I used to like coming up with usernames more, but I felt like I was using different personalities for each username/site, probably thanks to the terrible anxiety I had when I was younger. Now if I want to be part of any online communities I like to use at least part of my real name and it's so much easier to just be myself. I'm WerewolfMack in a lot of places these days, if Mackenzi is taken already.

Well, the name behind the username is that I actually did it to pair with my mum who plays the game with me ( ). And basically I think it came from an idea she ha from another game, and then she used it for this one, and I basically made another version for it so we'd match.

A long, long time ago (20 years-- eep!) I played Everquest, and my main was a ranger named Tamarisk. I made some friends in game that I got to know outside of the game, and one of them combined it with my real name, which is Suzanne. Suzarisk stuck, and it's been my username in basically every game I've played since.

My username is as is because I have always been so different then others. Therefor uniique and the extra 'i' makes it unique ;)

My username is my first name irl. I kind of wish I had some cool username and backstory, haha.

This is my second un at Subeta. My first was my most commonly used un...until I had spur of the moment idea to look for Gaston and it was open. Gaston is a name very near and dear to my heart, because it's the name of the first oc in a rp begun in 2015 that spawned many universes and continues to this day. Through the course of rping my partner and I fell in love, and we also endure to this day.

So, Gaston it is and will remain. Tagging my partner in everything.

First off thank you. As for my user name, it's a combination of 2 wonderful characters from the Redwall series I read many years ago, Sparra aka Queen Warbeak from the first book Redwall and Song the name of an otter in the book The Pearls of Lutra. I've used this name for over 2 decades now and thankfully it's so unique that I can use it everywhere as it's never taken LoL also Song has become a nickname in RL

So my UN, like others who've posted, is actually my name! I actually used to have mixed feelings about my name - it just felt like it wasn't a "pretty" name. But I've since come to love it. There aren't that many other Shirley's out there that I've encountered! So it feels a little more unique and quirky to me which matches my personality. haha

I've thought about changing it to something else, but I've had it since I started playing over a decade ago, and it just feels weird thinking about having a different UN here. xD

With my username I've always just liked the word melancholy since I was young and thought it was pretty :3

My UN is my real name. I stalked the original user's account for a long time waiting for it to become available. :-D My original UN was lizziemyluv (Lizzie My Luv) after my daughter Liz. She's now almost 23 but for years most new accounts I made I used lizziemyluv. I guess at some point I went back to being me. :-P

My username is literally just my first name, haha. Nothing special about it, but it's really nice that it was available!

If I can enter: I picked my username because I'm a massive fangirl of a lot of TV shows but Fangirl is usually taken so I just add Lady in front of it instead of numbers behind it lol

My UN is based on the Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey. 88 is the year I graduated from HS. I've had this moniker for 20+ years now!

Technically, my dad gave me this username. I was like, 8 or 9 and wanted to create an e-mail address and I didn't know how to, so I asked my dad to open an e-mail account for me.

I remember it was on Yahoo x'D

He asked me what username I wanted, and I just gave him my nickname, which is 'Nicki'. Of course that username's taken, and he went on to add a '123' at the back. But Nicki123 is taken too!

In the end he just added a 'TW' for Taiwan because he was using a .com.tw domain for his email.

So that's how nicki123tw came to be.

That being my first username, I ended up using it for much, much longer. It's still my username for most platforms these days xD

My username is pretty boring honestly. It is just my name. Lol I did previously have the username Nic, which is a nickname of mine, but stalked this name clearing. I don't know if Nicole was not available when I first signed up or I didn't think to check. My original username was from a No Doubt song. _artificial_sweetner and yes I spelled sweetener wrong so I'm glad I got to change it haha
