Yeah, the hydra core's healing percentage isn't much to talk about, and it's capped at 900hp.

You could only start using it at T9 with the Gutting Knife. At T10 DGR would be the constant, and if you're struggling with the challenger, hydra core isn't going to help much (especially healing back to over half health).

The things I find nice are the blessing and mono dark attack, but that's not enough to cover its shortcomings compared to other options including the gentech combos.

Hydragellos Maniacal Core, tested 128 times at t10, procced 14 out of 14 times between 24% and 34.46% health, failed to proc 14 out of 14 times between 34.77% and 48% health, and failed to proc 100 out of 100 times at 100% health. Dark damage on proc was between 45 and 50 inclusive; the sample size n = 14 is too low for a valid chi-squared test for uniformity (but all values were represented). I did not record blessing frequency. Based on these data, and common-sense assumptions about implementation:

I conclude that the Core now does 45-50 :dmg:dark:, 75 :block:light:, 13 %:heal: if health is below 34.5% (and 45 :dmg:dark:, 75 :block:light: otherwise). I accept Rocketlauncher's heal cap of 900 (but do not have a pet with enough health to reproduce).

Replica Minotaur Knocker, tested 100 times at tier 10, had damage consistent with the values reported on SubetaLodge. Its earth defense has increased on average from 10, 15, or 90 to 15, 35, or 75, and its heal has increased from 6-9% to 7-9%. Icon count distributions (including percent heal) were consistent with uniformity at the p = .05 level. I did not record blessing frequency.

I conclude that the Knocker now does 7-9 :dmg:physical:, 10-12 :dmg:light:, 8-10 :dmg:earth:, 6-8 :dmg:dark:, 15 or 35 or 75 :block:earth:, 7-9 %:heal: at t10. I may test at t1 and t5 in the future.

Could I ask if you guys would consider giving same-species bonus to the two weapons in the MC (Shengui Guo Legeica Horn; Saherimos Swift Neela)? It's an odd request, and I know you guys don't like the same-species bonus stuff, but it's already there anyways, and I don't see it being problematic when so many people can own nearly as many pets as they want. I don't think people are going to feel limited in what they make their battle pets.

I believe that weapon now is an achievement drop but yeah it has it's limited uses, nothing that I use enough to put in pre-made set

At tier 11 (and up), it looks like the Knocker has been buffed to do 50 or 90 earth block, and a constant 9% heal (with a cap at 650)

It's not as good as OHS or Slappy, but its still a decent quick option that some people use when theyre tiering up, so I'm glad it got some love.
