Time to get back to the battle grind hehe. I'm glad to see Haara got his AP back. I adopted another new pet too ahhhh so that means I need ANOTHER one because I demand to have an even amount what am I thinking sobs.

So much stuff to catch up on! Challengers I need to battle and ahh. RL is so busy too. Lil Dizzy (rattie who had her facial bones broken as a babe) has to have her tooth surgically removed in two weeks I'm a BALL OF NERVES so gonna distract myself with some Subeta'ing

Right now I'm on a five day streak of getting crap from Shinwa... What a birch!

time!! Battle Quest

I think that was changed. I was able to finish a battle quest hours after I first started it. And if there was some issue with ending, going to the battle quest page to see if it would register would fix it.

I'm fairly sure I finished it yesterday, but it's possible I didn't. Something went sideways though? This is like an extreme version of a bug that I run into here and there, though never before on level 30. For whatever reason I finish a fight, exit it with the see results button, and move on but it doesn't register. It starts the next quest like normal and gives me a new challenger, gives me an already in battle error when starting the match, then has me do the challenger from the previous round. I get experience, a quest reward item, and credit for both quests when this happens.

I'm also pretty sure I'd visited the BQ page a couple times later in the day and didn't get offered level 30 again, but because I didn't battle again yesterday I didn't get unstuck from the fight.

I have 32 pets who all have jobs. Today only one got a stat boost, but it happened to be the one who is at the top of the SAI job tree, so do with that what you will. I don't know if that job has a higher chance of a stat boost than others. It would make sense.

Hi there, I'm fairly inexperienced when it comes to battling, but my main battle pet Cieran is doing her BQs on a regular basis and I feel like she's really coming around. I've also been trainig some of my other girls, but there are on hold for as long as the alarm for the training center is not working. I hope it's okay if I ask a (probably stupid) question here. I did read through all the guides a while back, but I don't seem to recall an answer to this: Does it make sense to challange the same opponent more than ten times? I would think not, as the rewards are getting quite low, but I think I saw that people actually do fight the same opponents more often with the same pet ...?

It depends on the opponent. For the Cash Shop opponents there's not much value in going past 10 wins. Some of the regular and secret opponents give out amulets, tomes, or special items at certain win counts, usually 25, 50, 100 etc. Some opponents drop scroll pieces you can combine at Genetech, there's a pretty awesome freezing scroll you can make by doing so.

There's a spreadsheet in this thread that lists all the special loot so you can see which opponents drop what items at certain win counts.

IMO the Cold Blast Scroll is one of the best things to be added to the battle game. I understand why they tie a lot of the best weapons and scrolls to achievements to keep them one per account, but I love love love that there's no limit to how many Cold Blast Scrolls each person can make. I believe the pieces of it are dropped by Daemon and Mama Mush. It's a really decent freezing scroll.

I'm glad you asked about this actually, I think one of my up and coming battle babies is strong enough now to earn another one for me so I should go do that.

I really need to look into scrolls again! I found some recommendations a while back, but decided that they were too expensive to make :D So far I've only been using Singed Stuffing and Soothing Current.

I'm glad my question gave you an idea :) I just randomly looked through some of your pets, looks like a lot of work went into their stats! I feel a bit lazy for only training one pet right now, but it's just so inconvinient without the alarm 😪

Scrolls are expensive for sure, but the good thing is that, unlike weapons, they work for any tier and will be useful for your entire battle career. Soothing current is a decent healing scroll. I would upgrade it to a Terra Focujin Scroll at some point. The extra 2% heal makes a difference. It looks like you could probably make one for 13ish mil, or buy one outright for 20. You could also acquire some Cobalt Eternals and Sancturia Exodins, they're blocking scrolls that will serve you well in almost any battle. Sancts are expensive but you can buy Cobalts from the millionaire center for 5.5mil.

And thanks! More time and Sp than actual work haha. I made a decision years ago to train most of my pets, and it's slowly paying off. Those stats are just the result of 10+ years of chucking them in training. Honestly once a day if they're lucky, I basically only put them in when my main battler finished a session, especially now that the timer isn't working. And I go through bursts where if one is like 100 stats away from the next tier I'll battle with them to collect enough exp to get them there, and then ignore them again for years.

I love your pets' color scheme, so monochromatic and satisfying!

That's a good point about scrolls. I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to invest a little more into them, especially since I'm planning to get a bit more serious about the training of one or two more pets soon. Thanks for the advice! The problem is that I'm currently saving for two name changes, the 200 mil pet slot and an Angelic potion :D But I guess that once all that is done, I'll be quite happy with my pets and can focus on working on them.

And thanks! I used to order my pets based on wether or not I train them as that is easier for going through them in the training center, but I find the more monochromatic approach way more visually pleasing :D

Maybe I'll stick around here, I guess it's very good for motivation :)

Always happy to see new faces in battling ^_^ It can be a very expensive hobby the more serious you get and has its fair share of frustration, but it could also be a lot of fun

True that it can be fun :) For the longest time I only trained Cieran in case there'd be a plot or something, but now that she is starting to be able to get things done, I'm really beginning to enjoy it :D
