Glad you enjoyed the video... perhaps not the hidden Chesire cat coming from the caterpillar's smoke/imagination but that's ok :) I winded up getting disqualified from the competition... I aimed too high for a small-minded person XD She only wanted a picture, I had difficulties sending her info, she indicated it was "easy" without giving instructions how, yeah, itty bitty incy wincy lack of appreciation for creativity, person. At least many enjoyed my video and that's what counts.

In other news... I'm running for admin of the other organization that is part of the residence. Two (out of 3) residents that represent us quit. I also found out a few weeks ago the president and VP retired... but we don't know by who. The director quit for another job... they had found someone that lasted two days and then quit so we still don't have a director. Residents keep harassing employees, one of which is asking to stop working here and another that is demoralized at times and is also considering quitting. Blinks... "We're all a little mad here."

I have no idea if I'll get in, but I hope so. I know of a lot of techniques that could help reduce certain problems as well as laws that haven't been followed. Well at least I'm trying to do my part.

That's just crappy that you got disqualified!! You certainly would have won! And wow, lots of madness! Just be careful what you wish for... there's a reason people aren't sticking around! But like you said, if you know a lot of techniques that could work, perhaps it would be for the best. Good luck!

I just finished a felting project. It's drying in the sink right now. Once it's stuffed, I'll know if it will have done what I had hoped lol. I'll let you know.

I did try doing as much tot ing as I could but its hard when I don't have a timer to use. I know I can get one but I actually don't think of it and other things. and real life stuff going on as well.

I've been dealing with achy hands, eye issues with screen, RL... check, etc and even with a timer I'd have to just skip it. We do what we can and it's good enough and more than if we didn't ;)

ooo I hope it works out. Looks out the window, snow is starting to cover my pumpkin. Well, it should keep cool until tomorrow when I dismantle it and hopefully can recoup to eat :D

Sigh, I don't want to get into admin... but if I don't things will just get worse. The 2 resident reps most likely quit before being exposed and kicked out because they were abusing their powers. On Fri, the wife of one yelled at our animator while she was organizing a special Halloween event. The wife has been problematic and getting worse the past few months. The animator was so upset she wouldn't let me help clean up. I find out today a really good janitor is fed up with being here. The employees need to be better protected, residents need to be put in their place, there are still problematic admins in high positions... laws are being broken. I want to be part of the solution... if only I can get past the flipping guard dogs of admins that have knives in my back. Worst case, I'll pester them next year and the year after that... I'm resiliant and persistnat ;)

So very sore, it was my cook/cleaning lady's day... marathon cooking is exhausting. We had to throw out 2 meats we cooked, one was too spicy (I had to jug down milk and kept coughing after) and one was past its time. The challenges of getting food from the food bank... but I also got some lovely meats like a roast beef that I made into a stew :)

Quentin doesn't like me all that much...and the feeling is mutual. But the Wiz apparently loves me because I got this random while doing the weekend quests.
