and I finally got the coat pieces cut out this morning as well ;) I've left the lining for Mum to do (it needs ironing first, and I thought she'd get on better cutting that out as she can pin the pattern to that fabric - the outer fabric is waterproof but that means you can't put pins in it, as the holes won't close over again afterwards) so hopefully she can get that done in the next few days ;)
Well that's a positive at least squishes

Yay! excellent you won't have to do that XD Hope it is done soon for ya.
Yeah lol even if she's being annoying again.
When I told Mum it needed doing in the next week, she didn't sound overly thrilled.... so most likely it's going to have to be me doing that as well, as I've now got just under 7 weeks left to get it finished. If my hands are bleeding and it gets on the fabric, I'll try and see it as her problem rather than mine.
Well annoying is part of Amelia's nature isn't it? So in a way that's good that she's back to more of a normal thing ;)

-nods- good thought. hopefully she'll do it but if not it really is her issue then. lol yeah.
How's Amelia doing? :) And kitties of course. :) I'm amused. I just had a dance with Satan, got to love subeta sometimes. lol
I can lock my window as well, but the opening will be big enough for any bug to get in. :) But still useful. :) I understand, that does make it a big more difficult. hugs
I have never considered hot showers triggering it, but that could very well be. I will try to make sure to take it a bit more easy when I get out of bed and stuff like that, and see if that helps. :) I got a lot of lovely gifts on neo, thank you so much to your family. :) If I remember correctly that is your dads account or something? :)

I decided to get on and get the lining ironed and cut out this morning while Mum and Dad were out.... that went well, but now I've realised I don't have the right shade of thread facepalm (I ws sure I had the right shade of denim / airforce blue, but I must have already used it for something else) :K 😊 so I can't do any sewing until today's thread order arrives, and that could take up to another week to get here!
That's always annoying when you have the window locked open, but still get flying things sneaking in!
nods that's dad's account but Mum was the one telling him what to buy laughs I did say he should've sent a neomessage so you knew who it was from, but he's about as good at sending those as he is with normal emails (pretty hopeless!) :P

Normally I don't get too many bugs inside thankfully. Mostly just a few flies, which are annoying enough at times. :P
Big thanks to both of them. :D Bartolomeow is already wearing some of his new clothes. :D

I tend to get wasps flying into my room and not figuring out how to get back out again, but I think that's mostly because they seem to be attracted to the outside of the window frame for some reason o.O Does Pusur chase / catch any of the flies, or does he just let you deal with them?
:D

She had her follow up today and passed. Doc cut her claws too. She definitely back to her annoying self :P haha did you have a devil of a time? XD
glad you got it cut but man that bites you don't have the thread :/
Maybe you could try bugspray or something around the window to see if that helps? :)
I don't think I have seen him actually catch a fly. lol
Glad to hear she is better. :)
Indeed. Haha! At least it gave me a chuckle while I was working on earning tokens.

yeah lol I wish she wasn't as annoying but lol you can't get everythign you want :P XD that's always a bonus ^.^ Today is my first covid dose. Not thrilled at having a shot but it's needed of course.
Haha! That is dogs for ya. xD She is cute though. :)
Hope it goes well. Have your folks had theirs yet? My mum got hers just a few days ago. Will be a while until I can get it, since I am not concidered high risk and there are not enough vaccines.

if you say so :P No, the doctor recommended me get mine first and then 4 days later dad or mum and then another 4 days later the last parent. It's because I'm having to go into some stores which makes it more risky for them I guess. That's a shame. Hope you can get it soon.
I do, I dont have to deal with her if she is being a brat. :P
That makes sense. At least your parents does not have to wait long until they get theirs. :)

exactly Lol. yeah. I've been reluctant to do the shot because there's so little known about the long term effects or longevity. But also want to protect myself and my family so been hard weighing the two.
they've dispatched the thread today, so hopefully it'll arrive by Saturday (they say to allow up to 5 days for delivery). Hopefully when it does arrive, there'll be no interruptions so I can actually get started on sewing it! I tried pointing out the timescale to Mum and all she said was "they'll have to extend it" - somehow I don't think the company will see it that way, as why should they extend it just because I haven't been able to get on with it?!
that's a thought - I might have to see if there's anything that might deter them, or get Dad to pick up some bug spray when he's in the shops next. I know there's a few flowering plants in the bathroom window that in theory might attract them, but those wasps seem to be attracted to all the south-facing upstairs windows in the entire street for some reason o.O
hehe I can imagine catching a fly is a lot of hard work for a cat :P

GLad it's already on the way at least!
Hopefully you won't have to worry about the time line. -snugs-
I can understand that. But for me I decided I am more worried about gettin covid than the vaccine.
Hopefully you can find something that will keep them away from your windows and room. :)
:nods: And he seems too lazy to hunt them the most part. lol

the thread arrived today, but Dad decided to take offence at something I said (I asked if he'd cleaned the cd that he said was skipping last time he used it) and made such an atmosphere that there's no way I can get my head around sewing anything this afternoon :K
That's a very striking look, with those piercing eyes.... wonders if he's trying to hypnotise me :P
hehe well that's definitely the Garfield nature showing through :P After all, why bother hunting them when he has a human servant to get rid of them for him? 😇
