if all else fails, get a couple of desk fans just to move the air.... although when it's really stupidly hot, they literally just seem to move hot air around rather than making it feel any cooler o.O

That is exactly what I feel my fans do during the warmest days. lol I usualy put my cooling fan tower at the end of my bed when I go to bed. Helps a bit.

Well I had plans but yesterday I went out to help get the rest of the plants in the bed and all. I decided to sit on the swing for a few moments and it ripped. I fell and hit my back on 3 of the metal bars and hit my butt on the cinder block below. I'm hurting really bad but still kept working and we've got it. I have pipe shaped bruises now and sitting is extremely uncomfortable. So I'm not entirely sure what I will be able to do today.

Hope the chores don't take long <3

now that's definitely a good idea! I don't have a fan in my room overnight, but I tend to keep the window open just to let some cooler air in. That works ok unless there's an unexpected thunderstorm overnight as having the window open makes that thunder a heck of a lot louder! :P Actually, I think I'm going to have to get the window in my room replaced soon - the seal between the window and the frame is breaking apart (it doesn't seem to like being in direct sunlight on a south-facing window o.O) which can't be doing the window any favours!

Uggh, lovely start to my day here. Woke up, got i the shower and ended up having a sudden drop in blood pressure. Makes you feel really lightheaded and nauseaus. Like you might pass out. Took me a while to start feeling better. o-o

I am always worried about Pusur getting out the windows. Wish I lived somewhere where I could let him out safely.. but that is not easy here.

From the sound of it, it does seem like it needs to be replaced. It should be a relatively easy job at least. :)

How come animals seem to know when we want them to be calm and quiet, and just do the opposite?! Is she any more relaxed today, or still trying to bounce off the walls?

Is there a kind of window guard or anything you can attach so you can have it open without him being able to get through the gap? (not even sure if such a thing exists!) nods the worst thing will be having to get someone in to do it - there's a lot of stuff that'd have to be moved out of the room to make it a workable space for someone to be in there to replace the window in the first place ;)

I finally got around to buying everything from the shop (I had enough trinkets already, I just didn't have the patience to go through everything!) so I thought RP-Paddy could have a play ;) Is her paw improving, despite her not wanting to just take things easy?

With our windows, we can actually lock them marginally open (so open enough to let air and possibly a small fly) through, but not wide enough for anything like a bee or larger, to get through the gap ;) It's definitely going to need doing, but then we aren't very good as a household at getting stuff like that done (mainly because I really struggle with having people in the house), so unfortunately that means that most things are all needing attention all at the same time! 😊

Definitely take it easy today - I tend to get that really lightheaded feeling if I've had the shower too hot or if I've been crouching down for too long (like if I'm watering house plants on a tray on the bathroom floor), and it's a horrible feeling while it lasts! squishes
