ooo that's an electrifying HA you've got today! :) My Dad is exactly the same - he refuses to ask anyone where anything is, and would choose just to walk aimlessly round the store multiple times to be able to find it for himself! 😮 That's pretty pricey just for a lamp shade! Hopefully the new lamp (and knitting needles) are working well though ;)

Other than that long walk around the store, how're you getting on with the new shoes & insoles?

laughs I dunno - Kwikspell seems to think they'll be able to create new ones for years to come yet :P nods I do try to keep a little stash of event currency from the previous year, just so I don't feel there's as much to do in order to buy all the new things! I'm hoping we might get a Steamwork Blob released for Masquerade this year - I've got a pet lined up for that already :P

For me, it depended what kind of store it was and if there was anything I could stare at just to keep myself from getting too bored.... although when I was about 4, Mum always would bribe me with a visit to the toy shop afterwards (we'd hardly ever buy anything, but kids were always encouraged to use the sample toys they had out so it was always a fun place to be)

lol when I was little art stores and book shops were fine. Craft stores, hardware stores and so on made me want to slip into a coma LMAO. nice bride, especially given that she didn't wind up buying often. ooh love the ha!

oooo that's an awesome HA today :d Thankfully I never had to do hardware stores (or craft stores that I remember) but clothing stores were a bit boring, especially if Mum wanted to try something on ;) hehe that shop always had a little queue of kids waiting to play in the red car - I doubt any of the parents were ever going to buy one of those!

I need to work on my digital drawings (so far I haven't managed to get them looking as neat as I wanted) - I really need to just draw my own version of those to keep my not-quite-blobs happy while they wait!
