Maybe a funny thing to do is have your hubby stuff a pillow under his shirt to make it look like he’s the one pregnant and you can have a pic if the both of you together smiling with the caption of “we’re having a baby!”

I've seen some cute ones with pink or blue balloons released, a pinata that releases colored ribbons or slicing into a pink or blue cake

find the dorkiest young kid birthday cards and cross out like: "Congratulations you're 4 Mom!" something silly like that

I didn't plan anything fun for mine just a stock photo of a monkey with a pink bow saying it's a girl but my friend who loves Harry Potter announced her pregnancy by using a pair of baby shoes and a placard saying Mischief Managed.

Maybe use something from your favorite movie like props or a favorite line or quote?

Everyone has some good ideas! Idk I would maybe go for simple a sign we’re now going to be 3. A picture of that bird that brings the babies, lol.

I don't think I'm very good at this, but maybe post a picture of a tiny baby-themed birthday cake with the number "0" on it and a little party hat?

Or put a teddy bear in a kangaroo wrap thing around yourself?

I'd probably go with something simple, I think. I'm not super cheesy or anything, so a simple picture or maybe a photo and some baby supplies and a date spelled out in building blocks or magnets or something childlike.

I wanted to say that the announcement you posted about sounds super cute. I think that's an awesome way to do it.

So many great suggestions! I can't wait to see what you've planned! Pictures or video are a fun way to tell a story! I love watching videos of when the parents are told they're going to be grandparents. The parents are usually given a gift that holds a clue. They then have to figure out the meaning of the gift. And then capturing the moment of realization on video is priceless!

i don't plan on having kids myself so i've never really thought how i'd do it, but i like seeing the silly/funny ones, the ones with a picture telling the story stick with me the most (that one Stellar posted is great!). i remember seeing a funny one (i don't think it was precisely a pregnancy announcement, maybe a birth announcement?) which was a series of pics from different stages of the pregnancy where the dude was pretending to inflate the lady's tummy with a straw through the belly button until pop ta-da there was a baby at the end. i wonder which route you have decided on...

We would be telling the closest family by phone. First the mothers, then my sister, his brother. Beyond that ... I don't know that we'd do a social media share. We aren't really like that. If so I'd probably wait until I was showing, then do a nice photo with all 4 of our hands on my bump. Maybe just share the photo with a winky face on Facebook. Watch all my friends faint.

I think when I was pregnant, we just posted an ultrasound photo. Short and simple. It was mainly for the people far away from us, because I was so sick that everyone in our daily lives already knew.

My friends did something super cute though! My friend got to the end of the 1st trimester just before Halloween, which is her absolute favorite holiday. She somehow found a skeleton shirt that had a baby skeleton inside the mom skeleton. It was absolutely perfection!

On a tv- show I saw someone reveal their pregancy with a baby on board sign on their belly. Was kinda cute I think. :) Looking forward to hear what you have planned :D

I think a cute poem with a pun at the end might be interesting or a scavenger hunt with the baby's gender being the theme of the items and then it gets revealed at the end.

As to the reveal, there are so many cute and creative ways to do it. I love when people incorporate something that's a big part of their life into the social media reveal and when they record or take photos of revealing in person to their loved ones.

One of my favorite in person reveals I've seen is when they have a get together and get everyonel lined up for a group photo and go "Three, Two, We're pregnant!" and snap the moment everyone hears and reacts.

For social media my pets are a huge part of my life, so I enjoy the reveals that feature the pets.
