Aw no, I'm so sorry!
Congratulations again on the pregnancy! c: Hope everything goes smoothly.
Congrats everyone!
I hope your morning sickness gets better soon if it hasn't yet! <3

Baby is 8 weeks today! Today marks the day when little one graduates from "embryo" to "fetus." It's still very early, but so much has changed!
My morning sickness has gotten better, tho it's not entirely gone. But... I get to see an actual photo of my baby for the first time this week! I am SO excited! I plan to buy my very first baby item after the appointment.
This weeks challenge is:
Share! What would be the first baby item you would buy?
thats hard.... i would probably say the changing table! knowing me id get some of the bigger items out of the way, and let the clothes toys accessories fall in place as it goes along .
Working on: Battle pets. Tier 5 and 12

I would commemorate the day by buying something either totally memorable that the child will want to keep forever or that you will enjoy. Like either a stuffed plush that they will adopt and adore forever (it happens) or a real blanket, not just a baby one, that they will love their whole life (also happens). I'd take a picture of you and your partner and make it a good one, save it and print it, and show it to the child eventually too. They won't appreciate something like that til they are older though. You can say: "that is what we looked like when we found out about you/when you were a wee little bean/etc." And then do it as they grow so they have pictures to compare and lots of happy moments to cherish.
I am all about making happy memories and having them forever as they are the only thing we really keep forever. Through their young life you help preserve their happy childhood moments by talking about them, videoing them, photographing them, etc, and it keeps the memories alive.
OR I would commemorate the day by buying my first big ticket item, knowing there will be a lot more to come! lol Like an actually good car seat that is one they will continue to use til they are 4. They make car seats that you can alter and change with different seats, straps, etc for this purpose. I know my sister has some of them. I like value and long lasting product over going for cheap or sale items -- it's not worth the risk when safety is involved. SO for me I would spend the most on a good solid car seat and then a nice stroller. The larger the wheels the easier to push (just so you know). My sister has two strollers. One with tiny wheels and one with large air filled rubber wheels, and the rubber one is a dream to push. it's like I'm not even pushing anything even though it is heavy!

I really really extremely want:A car seat for her/his trip back home.

I love the suggestions so far. :) A car seat is a great idea, and I love the idea of a momento. I think one of the first things I bought was a piece of crystal for my mom (she collects it) in the shape of a baby pacifier, as my way of telling her I was pregnant and she was going to be a nanna. lol
The first time seeing your baby is an amazing experience. When we had our first real ultrasound, we started calling her our "seahorse". I don't remember the first thing we bought, but I do remember one of the first things that we received, and it was a baby rattle in the shape of a seahorse <3
's idea is really lovely <3
Exciting that you get to see the baby soon! :D :D :D
It would make sense to start buying one of the bigger items- while its still easier to get around. :) Like beds- strollers- car- seat etc. :) Or just the cutest lil outfit you can find. lol I just love baby clothes. <3

oh man...i have no intentions of ever having a baby, but...maybe clothes or diapers? my mum used cloth diapers for me and had a diaper cleaning service set up. if i had the means to do it, i might want to arrange something like that maybe?

Definitely the crib! I would build my room around it so it would be the first piece I would invest in. Followed by some themed neutral beddings.
Hmm, probably would buy a rocking chair. Everyone knows the stock up on baby supplies, but the rocking chair benefits you too!
