My favorite way to eat potatoes is a Cheesy Potatoe Casserole: 1 bag fresh Hash Browns (20oz) or 1 2lb bag of frozen Hash Browns 1 small 10oz can of cream of chicken soup (if you are vegan use cream of celery or mushroom) 1 cup of sour cream 2 cups of shredded cheddar Mix is all together. Put it in a 9X9 oven baker (2 qt) and into the oven about 50-60 min at 350 degrees. Some people like to add butter to this recipe or a crunchy potato chip or corn flake topping. YUMMY
My favorite is potato salad but the way I make it, I don't like how many make it. I actually mashed the potatoes a little, most people cut it in cubes, no no I don't like hard pieces. lol I wanted to show a picture of mine, but honestly I didn't had one. So here is one from the web. lol What I use is just: 6-8 potato, half an onion, green peper (half if big one if small), red pimientos( pepper)-the ones in jars? I don't know if you get this but i suppose fresh ones work as well. 4 boiled eggs also mashed once cooked, salt and mayo to taste. This is for a lot of potato salad since I mostly make it for family dinner, but you can make smaller version of course. =D Boil potatoes and eggs, peal them, mash them. I use the food processor to cut the onion, and peppers very small and then mix them together, add salt and mayo. I prefer it cold but some like it hot or room temp.

I really love twice baked potatoes! I usually only get them at restaurants, but I make them at home sometimes too. It's a bit more work but so worth it :)
So glad to hear the baby is growing well!
My favorite way to eat potatoes is...literally every way possible XD I love potatoes, so I'm not picky about how to eat them! If I had to pick my absolute favorite though, I would probably say mashed or as a twice-baked potato (you know, with all the bacon, sour cream, green onions, cheese, etc deliciousness on top). My family makes really yummy creamy mashed potatoes.
My whole family knows that I have a french fry addiction. Any kind, doesn't matter, as long as they are crispy on the outside~
I have a gluten allergy so unfortunately I can't eat curly fries anymore since they are usually dusted with flour as well as seasonings, but I used to LOVE those. So any seasoned fry is a bonus.
Honestly though I love any kind of potato, not just fried. Cheesy scalloped potatoes, baked, or mashed. I love to dip bread in mashed potatoes and gravy~ Yum!
I saw 's idea of German fries, but how about German Potato Salad, so it's potato salad, but it's served warm with a vinegar base and bacon, cause everything's better with bacon!! One of my cravings was French Toast and Bacon when I was preggers (25 years ago-lol) and now that's one of my daughter's favorites;) Or I also LOVE Baked Potato Skins, that they serve as appetizers-yum!
Is enjoying Spring
Ahhhh potatoes are like my favorite food. I could eat potatoes forever. My very favorite is an oven-baked potato, with cheddar cheese and sour cream! Keep on growing, little lentil! :)
Oof, sorry to hear about the morning sickness but I am glad the baby is doing well :)
My mother used to make double baked potatoes(?) I think that's what they're called. It's baked potatoes, which is then scooped out of the potato skins and mashed. Then the mashed potatoes go back into the skins and are popped back into the oven until they're toasty.
Nowadays we just go with simpler mashed potatoes, haha. I've recently also been craving potato salad so maybe we'll whip up a dish of that!
favorite potato is my easy herb roasted potatoes.
chunks of potatoes, garlic powder (or real minced), onion diced, mixed italian herbs, coat in olive oil. microwave uncovered for 5 min. stir, and continue in 5 min increments until just cooked. place in heated 350F oven and back until needed or until desired crispiness.
the microwave cooks the potatoes but also draws out a lot moisture this allows them to crisp up in the oven.
Oh jeez... I just love potatoes. If I absolutely had to choose... whipped mashed potatoes. BUT french fries, potato skins, potato salad, baked potato, au graten, scalloped, etc etc etc. I literally love them all. I'm one of those people who will just eat a potato and call it a meal. 😆

my favourite potatoes is a recipe my mom makes! twice baked potatoes with colby jack, broccoli, bacon, and spring onions... we eat it with salsa and sour cream and avocado and lime and cilantro on top :)
edit: other favourite potatoes is irish nachos! sliced oven fries with cheese and seasoned meat and jalapenos and sour cream on top.
Oh, potatoes, I love them <3. My favourite way is mashed potatoes or crispy french fries. As smashed, I like it with so much milk, butter and cheese. On the other hand, I like eating french fries with ketchup.

Sorry about the morning sickness, hope it does not last long.
Mashed potatoes are my favorite, with lashing of butter. Has to be butter.

Potatoes! 🍟 🏉 🍴
I've gone off them in the last few years since my dad tends to cook them too hot/fast so that they're still crunchy-raw inside and crunchy-burnt outside. When I'm out, though, I'll happily eat chips. Everyone loves chips. And when I'm cooking, then there are three ways that I do like spuds:
Fried mash
When you're cooking mashed potato (eg to go with sausages), do extra so that there's leftovers.
Then the next day when you're hungry for lunch, put a heavy frying pan on to heat with some butter or ham fat. Add a good sprinkle of paprika and a tiny pinch of turmeric, and scatter your leftover mash into that. Add a few dots of extra butter and a sprinkle of paprika upon the top.
If you have a friendly oven, let it bake at medium-hot (or if not, just continue frying) until golden and crispy underneath; like steak, it's ready when it comes loose from the pan. Turn it over (in one or two large pieces if you can!) and cook a little more until also golden on the second side.
Goes excellently with fried eggs and bacon, and tomato salad or baked beans on the side.
Tuna salad
Smallish waxy potatoes are the best for this (eg Charlottes).
Peel and then boil or steam the potatoes until done. Set aside to cool.
Hard-boil some eggs. Put in cold water to cool.
Cook up some frozen peas. Set aside to cool.
(If you're efficient/lazy you can cook them all in the same pan! Though not all three at the same time.)
In a serving bowl, combine:
1 tin of tuna (dry or drained from water, not oil or brine)
Some chopped green onion / scallions
A good amount of fresh chopped parsley
A ludicrous amount of mayonnaise
Cubed potato
Cubed egg
Peas
This one surprised me because I don't like potato salad, I don't like my eggs hard-boiled, and I don't like tuna. But when my sister made it, I couldn't stop eating it! Is great as a side-dish, for a buffet-style meal, or as a light meal on its own (maybe have a little cucumber/lettuce on the side).
Roasted under a chicken
Depending on size, spuds may need par-boiling first. Don't cook to all the way done, though, or they'll be squashed flat by the time the bird is done!
Get your chicken ready for roasting, however you do.
(My system: remove any remaining giblets etc, clean the bird, pepper him all over, make the stuffing and fill him up, ease some bacon in under the skin, use a skewer to sew up the entrance, then put face-down to roast in a casserole pan or dutch oven.)
Once the chicken has roasted enough to be turned over, pull the pan out of the oven. Add in a bit more fat and/or some chicken broth if the pan is dry.
Throw in some whole/halved garlic cloves, more herbs if there wasn't enough in the stuffing, the potatoes, and maybe some whole/halved carrots. Place the chicken back on top of this medley, and return to the oven to roast for another half hour or so.
Take the lid off for only the last 10-20 minutes, allowing the breast skin to get golden and crispy; before then you want to keep the steam in!
Meat comes out flavoursome and juicy, vegetables come out golden caramelised.

Hope the morning sickness phase goes away soon and that baby is doing well ❤
I loovvveeee potatos! My favorite way to make them is to smash them. They come out like crispy mashed potatoes (if you can imagine!) and are my lazy way of making potatoes that still tastes delicious! I started with a recipe similar to this one and have since modified the way that my partner and I like them.
I love a perfectly, steamy baked potato, loaded with everything! :-D
I'm sorry to hear about the morning sickness. That's rough. Hopefully it goes away after the first trimester! I hear the first trimester is the worst.
I love potatoes. There's so many good ways to eat them. I reliable way that I love is homecut french fries with malt vinegar, salt, and ketchup!
My fav is mashed potatoes. There are many ways to make them... but most importantly is selecting a good potato as they are not all the same. Yellow potatoes are good... you can also combine them with sweet potatoes.
A lovely combo is cooking onions & garlic till they brown, add milk and a sprig of rosemary. Boil on low for 5 min, then add to the mashed potatoes.
You can also add cheese... bacon, ham, sausage, etc.
Another level is to bake the potatoes first, scoop out the inside, do the above then add an egg... then put back into the skins and bake till golden brown.
A full meal with a potato :D
I like them scalloped.
