Oh, I love potatoes basically any way that they can be cooked, but my favorite is probably sliced really thin and cooked with some oil in a pan and then roasted a bit in the oven for good measure so they're nice and crispy on the outside. I also love mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes, French fries... Lol

Mmmmmm, potatoes!

I love a good rosemary oven roasted potato. Cut em up into bite size chunks, throw some olive oil and a ton of spices on, maybe some chunks of onions too. Then roast that sucker in a 450 degree oven for 30ish min, flipping periodically. So delicious.

1. FRIES - hands down McDonald's fries. Then Curly Fries. Then, gotta be smiley face fries.

2. Scalloped potatoes in the oven just like mama used to make

3. Mashed - especially with a little garlic, bonus points if paired with breakfast sausage patties. Potato flakes of course cuz I'm lazy.

EDIT add in 4. oh god how could I forget about a loaded baked potato, sour cream, chives, bacon. I mean, I'll eat one plain (well, some salt..) cuz potatoes just taste so good to me.

Probably getting those tiny potatoes, tossing them in olive oil, and roasting them on about 400 Degrees. Then tossing with sea salt and rosemary.

What an awesome variety of ways to eat potatoes! 😆 I like potatoes most ways. In the summer I love hot German potato salad, which can also be eaten cold. It's made with only cubed potatoes, fried pieces of bacon and onion baked in a sauce of vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, cornstarch and water. Easy and delicious to my family. Probably not to everyone's liking though. 😄

i loooove baked potatoes! that's gotta be my all-time favourite way to eat spuds. best done wrapped in foil and cooked on the coals of the fire, so they get a bit charcoal-y on the skins. served with butter, sour cream and grated cheese. YUM! second favourite way we do them would probably be scalloped potatoes. we always add little fried bacon bits through it, as well as some fried leeks (we use leeks instead of onion, so either of the two would be scrummy). mmMMmmm.

i hope the morning sickness doesn't last too long. my mum's trick from when she suffered from it was to eat a plain cracker (we have these Salada biscuits here which have the tiniest bit of salt on them, but otherwise very plain) as soon as she woke up in the morning - as in within minutes of being awake, not even out of bed yet! she also found acupuncture to really help - she only had about three sessions (just to treat the morning sickness, nothing else) because she was on holiday at the time. (and she also says congrats!)

Potatoes omg, i am at a diet so no potatoes for me, but i love and i love fries, i live in belgium, it was invented here, the fries. But a good recipy that is more healthy: put potatoes with a whole chiken deboned in the oven, and add some garlic with water, and leave it to get ready, those potato will taste like meat with garlic and whtaever spicies you put (boia, peper, scipy stuff)

Oh goodness... this is making me hungry lol! I love potatoes. Any way, shape, form.. from sweet potatoes to regular potatoes, I love them (and they don't love me... goes to the hips lol!). If there is cheese involved, well that makes my day.

I love Cracker Barrel's Cheesy Hashbrown Casserole. There is a video on youtube that gives a good recipe (sorry can't access YT while at work to get the link for you). The guy has the recipe from a friend who works at CB. Not sure if its legit but I have made it before and it was pretty darn tasty.

I try not to buy potatoes too often as if I have them around, I turn them into delicious food and eat them in comfortingly disgusting quantities. The last truly joyous potato experiment I concocted had them in a faux risotto with bulgur wheat and mushrooms. Because it was so good, I'm going to tell you how I made it-

Sautee loads of mushrooms and garlic with a pinch of nutmeg, chilli flakes and loads of fresh thyme, and a healthy measure of white wine to get the fond up when it comes to it. Using salt is a given, so add your measure at some point before the wine. Pepper too but that should go at the end or it'll get bitter as the tannins will cook out.

Once the alcohol cooks off, add the water to make it stock and chuck in the bulgur, a bay leaf and the chopped potatoes for 20 minutes.

Toward the end of the cook time added chopped leafy green stuff to steam on top and a bit of butter as vegetables are good for you and butter is a sin, so it cancels out...

Anyway, it was heavenly. The chunks of potato were so creamy and savoury and nom and such a great texture and flavour contrast to the kale and grains. Man I'm getting hungry now.

My favorite way to eat taters are french fry form in poutine. If you've never had poutine, it is fries with cheese curds and brown gravy and it is deeeelicious.
