@ Frost That was a cute video. I watched it with my daughter before she left town this morning. :) We had crrraaaaaaazzzzyyyyy rain once Spring hit and I haven&;t had the time or energy to deal with my lawn, so it&;s a complete jungle! It&;s taller than my car lol.

Glad you liked it! And oof, beware of mosquitoes and bring a machete! 😬

... What if it's something even worse: tiger and mosquito hybrids. 😨 There's a mad scientist on the loose out there, I'm telling you!

I know, right? I think my wedding will be first, though.

That is...one of the most terrifying ideas ever conceived, lol.

Oh man, she'd kill me lol. I will probably offer to pay for one major piece (like the dress, cake, flowers, or location and then the rest is up to her or other family members. I don't view it as my responsibility to fund her entire wedding, unless it's a very simple wedding. I'd also like to make her invitations if she'll let me and maybe the table decorations.

It stalks you in the backyard jungle, waiting for you to let your guard down so it can strike, leaving behind a bugbite as big as a dinner plate. 😨 Good thing you've cleared that jungle out, now it has no place to hide.

Terrifying creatures aside, I hope the weather's been a little nicer! The heatwave finally broke here, my brain no longer feels like jello.

Yeah? How much was it? I planned all of my first wedding and did pretty well, too. I think it was $6,000 total, or something close to that.

Yeah, now it's moved on to my neighbor's yard. I'm ok with that. :D

The heat broke here too, for the time being. Mid '70's as opposed to '90's.

Yesss, that's much better! Much more bearable for packing too.

I see your HA is also cooling off and enjoying life without troubles under the sea. ;)

Thank you! And yikes, I'd have freaked if I'd lost my venue right before my wedding day. The venue is what I spent the most money on, as I was married on a beach at Lake Tahoe.

o/Under the sea, under the sea, down here it's better, down where its wetter, take it from me! o/

Well I made it! It was quite the ride, let me tell you. 2,300 miles in a 26' Uhaul towing my car behind it on a dolly with myself, my son, my boyfriend, three cats and a dog all in the cab of the truck. It took 3 1/2 days and was exhausting. We drove through a lightning storm in Wyoming at 2 am and it was one of the most intense experiences of my life. Lightning was striking ceaselessly everywhere around us - it was like being in a mine field at night! We missed the exit to the hotel we were staying at (that had more to do with Jeff's stubbornness and exhaustion than the lightning) only to find that the straps that were holding the car onto the dolly had come off and only two little chains had kept my car from having a terrible accident. We found out the next day that we had been driving through a tornado warning, too. The rest of the trip went pretty well and now I'm unpacking, unpacking, unpacking. I start my new job in a couple of weeks and I'm super excited! Everything is good here.

I hope you are doing well and that you never, ever have to drive through a lightning storm in the middle of nowhere at 2 in the morning whilst driving a 26' lightning rod.

There is no questioning that God carried us through that storm safely. I was praying the entire time!

Well, I've been here a week and a half so the packing is well under way. I started the very next day out of necessity. How does one person acquire so much stuff!?

I got rid of a ton of stuff before moving, too. And then I load the truck to the brim and go, "Wait, I thought I had less than this!"

I wouldn't have believed it had I not been there.
