Oof yeah, keep that iced tea handy. D: Gonna need a lot of it. We're dealing with a nasty heatwave (running up to ~98f), and after all that rain and chill in May, it feels horrid.

From what I understand, the food in Italy is very different from American Italian food, but I'm sure it's amazing. I can't wait to find out. :)

Are you going to take your son or do you have someone to watch him?

I don't imagine we'll take him with us, but we haven't asked anyone yet seeing as how only he and I and one of my parents actually recognize how impending the engagement is. Robbie has three grandmas and two grandpas to help out, though. :)

Actually....only one of them is retired now that you mention it and she only just retired two weeks ago! I'm sure they'll figure it out, though. How hard can it be to watch a 5 year old for a week? coughyou'dhavetoknowmysontoknowtheironyinthatquestioncough

A handful, sure. But more than that, he's a little genius and he does terrible and intrepid things when he gets bored. Like disassembling his bed to the point of it being unusable. When he was 3.

I hope your wedding goes off with a hitch and I heard Rome is quite beautiful. Wish it was warmer here, all we have been getting is rain.

Ooof. D: Summer needs to chill. The grass is already turning yellow and ugly here and it's really not a good sign for our veggie garden. Too much rain, then a sudden blast of heat and sun = sick, unhappy plants.

That was a cute video. I watched it with my daughter before she left town this morning. :) We had crrraaaaaaazzzzyyyyy rain once Spring hit and I haven't had the time or energy to deal with my lawn, so it's a complete jungle! It's taller than my car lol.

He and I have also been talking about wanting at least one more child. X)
