Happy soon Birthday. Mine was celebrated very quietly. My daughter got the family to all make clips (some don't have smart phones and computers so it was just audio) and then said daughter (we live in the same building/semidetached house) gave me the finished product of the messages all combined. She's 5. Part of a "set" I call the triplets, each of the (then) married kids had a girl one month after the other. :)

We have very few incidents of snakes and scorpions around here, which I attribute to the cats. I would be that guy.... I feed them. But I do try the TNR when we can spare some cash and the "volunteer" comes out to help me. I wish the cincy council were more helpful, but it falls on the civies. Most of whom don't care. My husband comes from farm stock in Ohio. :D

I was born in Miami, didn't even own a warm winter coat (our raincoats where plastic things. Sometimes with a material liner) until we moved to Israel when I was 9.5. I have mentioned how I despised suffered the gray skies & long, cold winters in NE Ohio (ten years). I love the long summers and dry heat where I am now. I do miss Autumn and Spring. We sort of went from COLD to HOT in one day.

Was it humid in Miami? Dry heat's not so bad, to me. I always picture Israel as being hot all the time.

Oh you! I missed a day twice since January. The most I do is snap my fingers and take it out on firweood.

Parts get cold. Jerusalem snows some years (not this one) and we even have a "ski resort" (no hotel. It's small). I don't remember the humidity in Miami. I was a kid. Tel Aviv where my folks settled when we moved here was extremely humid. Ruined a lot of shirts. LOL My older sister who was one of those "practically perfect in every way" type people wouldn't lend me her clothes. :P
