I did not know that Helix is a Border Collie! We had those when I was a kid. We now have several Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. So smart and fun! ♥♥

Me hearty ❤ My grandad's dogs all pure bred border Collies. While a puppy he was sorely out numbered and pushed down the the bottom of the Hierarchy. He lost trust in all people and his own pack and lived slightly wild. When I turned up? he would come out. I would talk to him and he listened. When I left? he would too. Grandad rang me and said "You want 'that' dog?" I was there. Helix is my boy:) He lost 1 of his back legs, that doesn't stop him. He taught me survival and I gave him courage. I think that's a wonderful exchange. The bond we have is awesome. Helix is my first dog he is also the last of the line, but he is still intact.
