I will just say, I got them for a fancy boutique.
: I loved your story! It would be fun to sit with you over a couple of days and pick your brain about the "days gone by". So far, from what I've heard, you've got some tales to tell!
@ FabulousViolet
So...bedtime stories about high school?
My schooling was different, I didn't go to high school. As a young child, I was sent to Glen Meadow Home for Apprentice Candidate school and that lasted for 26 weeks. After that, all the successful apprentice candidates were chosen by a Master to learn a trade or craft. I was chosen by the Master Healer and I lived at Healer's Hall during my apprenticeship for another 26 weeks before I was qualified to sit for my exams. Master Harriet the Wise never passed any apprentice on the first try, but that wasn't going to stop me from trying. I ended up stealing her personal journal the night before the exam, and I was banished from Healer's Hall and healing for six months. I worked on Healer's Hall farm from May to September hoeing weeds, picking radishes and planting tomatoes. I was reinstated in the fall and I passed my test on my second try and earned my Journey Level I certificate. Did I resent the hard labor? No, I got strong, ate well, stayed out of trouble, learned a lot of humility, bathed in a creek, slept like a stone every night and got to work outside with my shirt off. (Pure white weasel-girls do not tan, but we sure can reflect a lot of the summer sun.)

Most of all, I had a lot of time to think of Weldon.
I have it on very good authority that you were a stinky little weasel-girl and bathing in the creek without soap also did very little to keep your fur pure white.
Technicalities! At least I bathed! I recall that you didn't bathe for a week when you came looking for me out in the dessert. When you found me, they had to tie you up, hold you down and scrub you from snoot to tail with lavendar oil until you glowed before they would even let you see me.
Oh, yeah. That.

Noms the last of her s'more and goes to check out the yurts I have never seen a yurt before except in pictures. :) It's bigger than I thought (and beautiful). But I think I'm gonna try out that jacuzi. Warm! <3
Looking up at the stars, on a night like this, reminds me of a time... I don't remember exactly when (I guess you could call it 'timeless' ;3 ) that I was at my grandparents farm. It didn't have animals other than a dog or two, a heard of cats, and a slowly diminishing flock of peacocks (bobcats). They didn't grow crops or anything. Just a couple acres, a barn, an old train car and one of the coziest places that I could call 'home'.
There was a giant, metal half-barrel that had a couple grates thrown over it. My dad, uncles and grandfather got a Huge fire started in the afternoon and cooked dinner. I remember the setting sun shining into the dining room on my family as we ate....Later, us grandkids and anyone else who wanted some, went out to make s'mores. I had never seen so much chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers before. Those that were still hungry cooked a couple hotdogs.
But I remember walking a little bit away's out into the barn lot/field, where it was darker, and looking up at the stars. ....They were so numerous, so great, so awesome.. I could feel the love of the night. The smell of sweet dessert, of a fresh breeze, the sound of laughter of my family, and the site of them lit by the glow of a fire under the greatness of the stars.
:) That is one of my favorite memories.
<3
takes a breath Whew! Well, I'm gonna warm up and relax in that jacuzi, anyone want to join?
[Also, as for any actual 'camping' stories? The closest I've ever come to camping was sleeping in a tent in our backyard for a night (ground is HARD, even grass), or staying in a cabin or motorhome. I like working toilets.
And highschool? .....I know there were many awesome times in highschool. ..But I also have moments I'd rather forget and I've kinda forgotten a lot. (funny...it's only been 10 years...)]
I don't know where the thread is, but TOKEN SHOP RESTOCK!! :)
: What a beautiful memory. I love the stars. Where I live, if it's a cloudless night (lots of those in Central California) and the State isn't burning down, you can see countless stars, and fuzzy spots in the sky. I'm still learning all the constellations.
: I really went through a lot in my training. Some experiences are not bedtime story fodder.
Wow so beautiful and the way you described it was like pictures with words.
Hi peoples!! Just got home from my camping trip...exhausted...long drive pulling that Egg...was a great trip though. Unpacking is no fun...packing is much more fun. I am sore all over...so much walking and carrying things and lifting, not used to lifting...and DANCING! haha even my hands hurt from a little hand sewing project I worked on...with no thimble...sore fingertips.
I loved your story...felt like I was there...going back to read it again :)
Finished Drunk Carl's Quest! Wow, it looks like that was some good stuff you brought Carl. He's passed out! You decide to reach into his pockets and pay yourself.

^//^ Aaw... thanks!
Wow! Congrats ! :)
Well, I woke up this morning to a white Christmas day. ^_^ <3 I was so happy!
Then, I got to doing things around the house, and by the time I wanted to go out it was half-gone. sigh Oklahoma weather. But the wind chill is apparently at -6 F. Yaay! I can only hope and pray the schools are out tomorrow coughso I don't have to go to workcough The wind chill advisory 'till 9am will be about -5 to -10 F. Sure it will heat to the 20s during the day, but that's not the times the kids will have to be standing at bus stops. Most other school systems have already called it, but the one I work for likes to hold out until the last possible moment.
WOW what a wonderful prize lucky you but you are the one to do all the quests
i remember icy school bustops in wisconsin yikers !!! hope you get the day off :):):)
