This is "Passion Flower" my little fighter jet. She is actually an interplanetary long-range fighter/bomber that was one of sixty aboard the galactic warship/privateer Midnight Lamp. I was conscripted from Terra to live on the Midnight Lamp when I was a very young adolescent, shortly after I earned my Level I certificate in Healing, and I was made the Ship's Surgeon. Part of my duties was to fly to outposts and conduct health screenings for crew who were pressed into service. Weldon trained me and I earned very high rating, but missed the Top gun rating by only a few points. I took Passion Flower for my own when I joined with a band of mutineers and jumped ship. Later, after I married Weldon, Passion Flower was gifted to me as a wedding present from the Captain after we reconciled. Currently, Passion Flower is fully functional, fully restored and ready for flight, but I cannot get the Subeta Air Command to certify her air-worthy because of her historic importance and rarity. (the others of her kind were all lost under the Arctic Ice and are unrecoverable) So, the short answer is, though I would love nothing more then to be able to give you a ride, I am grounded as her only pilot because I am pregnant, and she is grounded as the last of her kind. Bummer, huh? I guess we will have to eat popcorn and giggle at pictures of Weldon hanging from his airplane by his underpants.

In the interim, I finished the book I wrote about my life to the point where my first litter was born and I started on a second series of stories about life in Glen Meadow during the 1960's. I'm still working on that manuscript.
I had a second litter two years after my first, Glendolyn, Samwise and Buckmeister. Glenda is training to be a lore-singer, ( a teacher of myth, legend, culture and history through songs poetry and prose. ) Sami is training to be an artist, specifically in pencil, pen and ink, and block printing. Bucki is training to be a luthier and is currently proficient in gourd banjos and ukuleles. He hopes to learn guitars and mandolins when he starts his Level II certificate.
Luna, Sparkles, Jairen and Aya are all single still, but they are all courting fine prospects at this point. Jacqueline, my little drama queen got married before she finished apprenticeship (a common occurrence among our kind) and immediately started producing grandchildren a tortilla making machine.
Weldon retired from active military duty with the Watchers and the Subeta Air Command as a Lieutenant Colonel and he enjoys his retirement by writing his memoirs, reading, cooking and giving flying lessons. He and our friend Merril help maintain our growing fleet of ships, Passion Flower, Happy Wanderer, The Krakatoa and The Terrapin Glider. He is always very busy with some secret things down in the shop and I suspect that he is still working for the Watchers back on Terra in some conspiratorial way.
My fiends Mark and Francine are doing just fine, He just retired from teaching after 28 years. His decision to do so came just 5 days after the end of school without prior warning. He says it was the best move he ever made. He is spending his retirement writing about small fuzzy animals who live up in the Sierra Nevada of Central California. He had previously retired from his part-time job as a Respiratory Care Practitioner several years ago. He hopes to get an agent for his books by Spring.
There's a lot to digest, so I'll fill you in more a little bit later if you desire.

Oh my gosh, I'd love to hear more. You have such a great way of telling events. So I missed your second set of babes? How'd you get the jet? I missed so much! Please send Mark and Francine my best wishes and hugs. Sounds like Mark is doing great. Can't wait to see his works! I wonder if he'll stay retired. My dad retired 3x. Lol

I wrote a little about Passioin Flower in my post above in answer to Bohicon's post, but I'm always willing to tell more. I had Passion Flower before I was married and had children.
Quite literally, I stole Passion Flower when I jumped ship during a mutiny of half of the crew. The Captain was one of the Queens of the M'neb in exile and she had turned to piracy in order to raise the cash she needed to finance a coup of the ruling matriarch in Darkside. I flew Passion Flower to Omen and hid her in an old abandoned warehouse building near an abandoned wharf, pier and lighthouse.
The other craft, Happy Wanderer is a royal transport ship used by the Queen of the M'Neb. Happy Wanderer was given to me before my first litter was born as a baby shower gift by my old Captain. She has no real sense of what's appropriate to give an expecting mother. She thought that since my family was going to become huge, I should have a huge spacecraft to haul them around in. I use Happy Wanderer to transport medical supplies to all my clinics around Subeta and Atebus.
I also own The Krakatoa a three-masted sea-going ship/aircraft. She was the ship I joined after I left the Midnight Lamp. When the Captain of The Krakatoa retired, she gave me the ship to be used as a hospital ship if I wanted to. Currently, The Krakatoa is in dry dock while her refit is finished, which may take years, we are still waiting for some obscure engine part that hasn't been made for a hundred years.
The last ship in my fleet is The Terrapin Glider an oddball craft that we had built by scavengers during one of my Wayward Squirrel adventures. She looks like a turtle, has Nanotechnology Sails, plasma canons, ion guns and nuclear core engines. And she looks like a turtle...yeah, I said that. The Terrapin Glider was last used in the Love Truck Adventure this Fall when I took a bunch of Lair Bears to the pleasure world of Bacchus. The Terrapin Glider seems bigger on the inside, but it isn't a T.A.R.D.I.S.
I think Mark will do just fine too, he's kept busy fixing things around the house that have waited a long time. He's active in his church orchestra and just finished the Christmas Concert two nights ago, he played lead trumpet. He likes to draw, work on cars, do woodworking, and other activities. He has considered doing some substitute work maybe once a week, but he's not really excited about that too much.

:) We have two too! Cookie (5-6ish?) and Earl (little over a year). Cookie is 's and Earl is 's. I just get to enjoy the, sometimes overwhelming, love of my sister's cats. ;)

I have 6 other pets that I have taken into the zapper but stopped when they got to their current look: DoubleTrouble, Amellid, Pokerface, Zappa Dappa Dooo, Go Ask Alice and King of Lions. I added a a Chibi Potion for Pokerface. Several others already had experimental looks that I adopted when I saw them in Adopt R Us or were transferred to me by a friend: Amicably, DragonRider, Hm, iRobot, Cybergirl, SusieWoozy, Phantom of Subeta, Deviate, & ZoomZoom. Occasionally I even will change their name to better go with their look. :D

Hello fellow cat lover! I'm so glad I'm back with you guys. I forgot how good it feels to be a part of you all. I get Leon shaved for the same reason your grandma did. Leon's fur mats so badly that he doesn't want to be touched and he won't allow me near him with a brush. Lol There is a picture on my profile of him. I need to figure out how to make it smaller. It's really big. And yes, I really have thought of that before. Lol
I can't believe you have all those pets! How do you change a name? I think the only one I plan on changing is Derpderp.

I can’t believe I have all those pets either. I blame the release of the Blob pets! I have 19 different Blobs out of 23 available. Eventually I want the ones I am missing but I haven’t thought of names for them yet.
To change a pet’s name, go to that pet from the drop down menu from the pet tab. One of the options is Change Pet Name. It will cost 500 CSC to do so. You also can swap pet names with another of your pets from the overall pet tab. That costs 750 CSC. I have done that before too.
