For some reason I like her and Mae West.
whimpers Do you know it was in the 70s today in Phoenix Arizona? I wish I could move there.

I liked all the old actresses, what I would give to hear the personal stories on how they were discovered. Phoenix sounds good now, but in the summer you couldnt pay me to live there.

- congratulations on your cute Nostalgic Scootle!! So cute :)
I think I could stand being there in the summer. I'd just do things early in the morning and stay in the AC during the hottest parts.

I would feel closed in, lucky when I go to Egypt I have AC. Except when we go to alexandria, the coast is cooler.
Claustrophobia has never been a problem for me. Heights, now, are another story. And I love heat, hate the cold.

Thank you! I love the way the granny dressed in Beverly HIllbillies. I had forgotten how modest she was in appearance, most of them in general, the guys all in suits no matter what the weather...
Thank you! I think she’s so pretty!
Congratulations on your new granddaughter! How exciting!
Happy Tuesday everyone!
Calendar days are closer than they appear! [item=mocking clock]
Congrats ! sniff new baby smell my heat frustration/ low tolerance came from high fevers and ear infections as a kid. Dr advice wrap child with fever in blankets and ear infections winter stocking cap even in summer I got this. I agree claustrophobia overheated I freak out and can’t get cool fast enough.
Thank you both! I have the sniffles real bad (took 2 days off work. Now I don't want to go back! AAAAAGH!!!) so won't be visiting them today. I will tomorrow, even if I have to wear a mask. Daughter in laws need love too! :)
I loved the Beverly Hillbillies, the original series!
I was just the opposite. I spent a lot of time in a damned oxygen tent and those things were COLD. I remember begging my parents for "just one more blanket". It doesn't help that I'm not a radiator, I'm a heat sink.

I lived in Ohio and before the winter I had to dress 4 kids under 4 I told my husband: we are moving. Arizona or Israel, you pick. Lucky me, he agreed to live near MY family for a while. I moved to the desert, half way between the Dead Sea and Jerusalem. Not as hot as 500 below Sea Level, not as cold as the mountain Jerusalem is built upon. AAAAAHHHH nice warm weather 8-9 months of the year. We only put in air conditioners about 5 years ago. My (Israeli) son in law doesn't understand how we raised 10 kids plus had many many guests over without a/c! hehehe Spoiled now. Weren't then.
I would dearly love to move to Phoenix myself. It's going to be 70 degrees there for the next few days.

I met some people that came to visit here, they were from Phoenix, they found our summer of 90-95 degree "delightful" hehehe.
I bet it seemed cool to them!
