.... I know everyone says thank you for your service ..... but I don't like that phrase really it makes it sound like I was forced into doing something I didn't want to do..... I thought of it as more of a Duty(lol I said duty) to my country and fellowman to contribute to what so many other great people did to keep our country safe and free from tyranny .... I still believe in the oath I took when I joined the military .... to defend our country against all enemies foreign and domestic ..... and I con see the US having a lot of domestic enemies including people who used to be and still are in government jobs .......

I understand. My dad is a Vietnam Vet and I am extremely proud of him and our military. The government, not so much.

thank you and I knew all the risk of everything and anything could happen when I joined the Army but it was a risk I was willing to take ... I was always inspired by the speech from Winston Churchill during WWII as a child and a young adult I used that to give inspiration to do and go and be more and do more then what was expected of me.. I didn't like school to much I wouldn't go most of the time but I still graduated I was more into having a job at the time I started working on my own delivering papers (the Chicago Tribune) when I was 12 and then I started mowing lawns and shoveling snow during the seasons oh and rake leaves as well and I would make about $300 every other week not bad for a 12 year old kid but as I got older I took on more papers and more yards and then I got a full time job after school plus all the other stuff going on I was doing really well until I was introduced to the snowman that's when things went bad for me ... I joined the military to straighten my life out and it worked .. I don't drink or smoke cigarettes or do any drugs ... I smoke weed and I don't care who knows or what they think about weed or me all I know is it helps me not b so stressed out that I can actually deal with stuff in my world of anarchy
