The AP is the reason why I will only have one battle pet. Books get incredibly expensive, and to me, it's just not worth the heart ache. Haneul has just hit 120 AP...

Getting all that exp for unfinished challengers? I’m doing that as well with my T6.

Books do get expensive. It’s better to get intel with tomes because then you also get all the other stats. I haven’t paid more than 300k per book yet and I only use the books after I’ve been boosting and need the AP.

Also all this talk of battling I should go clear up some wins with Unmask very soon. I will work on battles with my two other pets when I stop being lazy.

NP! Not sure what weapons you are using but he does a lot of dark and wind with his infinite use weapons. I preferred Cronus over the wind block just to keep boosting in the hopes of critting him to death. Stealing and freezing are also disabled

I just started actively buying books for my second battler, but he'll never even come close to my main. I very rarely sell books, only if they're super expensive and my top two pets have read them. Otherwise I just read them to whoever is next in line.

I've conditioned myself to just not think about all the sP I'm spending on training/reading to all my pets :P

Hell my main is kind of a dummy as battle pets go because of intel being so expensive. She's not terrible but she could be better.

Also I saw Truth Serum mentioned. I was able to pick up one during a RD but I don't think I'd buy one now from the Antique Shop. I only use it against Lich Lord. Against him it's SUPER useful, but meh, I'd just borrow it if I didn't have it.

I read books to Kingx and then my other 4 battle pets get books next.

My second pet will most likely be a dummy because I have barely used any tomes on him and he’s already almost T12. I’ve pretty much stopped training him until I can use tomes on him.

I only read books to my pets if I feel they need them. Minus Cynde he gets all the books because I know he hates them. :D

As for Assassins he will probably be the dummy until I break down and get him books that suit his character.

This discussion has motivated me to buy a second copy of all the specialty shop books (Esther's, Zombie Den, etc.) I started doing BQs with my number 2 pet and I've been wishing he had more AP.

I know I might be missing some cheap restockable books for Unmask and Vaccinate I've just been too lazy to go through and check. I'm just being casual with the others, so long as they can heal and have 1-2 defensive scrolls right now it's fine.

Also, he's just over 1500 away from Tier 12. This is when I wonder...do I turn in all the amulets I have saved right now and use the tomes on him? OR do I use all the tomes I have (which isn't many...50ish maybe), to help him get there. OR do I save those for when he hits T12...

Why not use half now and half later? That way you can save some more once you hit tier 12?
