How can I access the weapon API please? I tried looking up the Item Directory Building but there's no info on the Blade there.

I imagine it has to have custom code. First T12 in years, in BHH, and expensive as a result, there's no way it doesn't have SOMETHING to it. It may not be a necessary staple, but if you have it, then it at least can be used. Unless the BAs think they're funny of course. It's a shit alternative to ME, and I wish it blocked physical and ice instead of light and wind and could have its own identity.

Oh well. We still have Reischen to look forward to for a potential first T13 weapon.

Sooo, I never pay attention to the text... Is it common to get "You scored a critical hit, doubling your damage!" ?

Are we swimming in lag again or is it me was going to try to do battles but if to laggy i think i will just get back to rdr2 and completed it today. wicked game.

GentlePawPrint is now T12 so now I have 3 T12 battle pets

It's even more common if you've modified your weapons to increase your chances of getting crits. :)

So from what I've gathered Attack: 18-25 20 20 Defense: 18 or 23 18 or 23 18 or 23 Health: -7% Riftburn (Curse) 2 2 Standard text: You feel a shock go through your arm as you swing your Shattered Rift Blade... but you can see a bigger shock go through your opponent. Muerte's speed was boosted by 50!

The curse seems to be either really high or 100% from the first move and seems to last the whole battle.

Thanks for the research~ Well, I don't need to worry about trying to get one of these then. Looks like its easily the worst T12 weapon ever made.

In that respect it has a slight edge. The self-harming aspect of it makes it not worth it to me. I can deal with some things that do negative health, most notably the Shriek of Despair Scroll, but this is... Not A Good. There are better weapons at lower tiers that are easier and cheaper to get. It's a pretty wearable, which is probably the point.

Yikes, uh. That's disappointing. Not really sure where staff/BAs are trying to lead us with battling right now lol. Chronocrone random nerf out of nowhere, releasing weapons in avenues other than battling, all the new weapons are a joke, no booster discount on BF and no word on why, autotraining broken but it still takes your money, oh and.. I'm pretty sure tome chances from mage amulets have been ninja nerfed. Although that needs more testing. Probably not a thing. But I'm paranoid. Not all of that are the BAs fault, but I don't really see logic behind a lot of decisions lately.

: You'll get to crit hit your opponents if your speed is higher than theirs (one way to check for this mid-battle is to notice which text comes first. If the text is about your weapons, then your speed is higher than theirs, if the text is about your opponent's weapons, then it means theirs is higher than yours). Having higher speed than your opponents also ensure that you will not get crit hit.

I hate to ask this, but if you don't mind I wonder if I can borrow your Rift Blade to test it. I can offer collat if you want. If you'd rather not, I'd understand. Many thanks :)

P.S.: If you don't mind testing the weapon, perhaps it would be nice to try it on some Impossible challenger where the battle lasts more than a few turns. That way if the Blade is custom-coded it will tend to show.

when do you think tome drop rates were nerfed? I recently turned in a pile of them and the rate was 17%, which I believe is the expected rate. If you want I can post the numbers from my spreadsheet and turn in date.

I think pretty recently, around black friday? Over the summer I turned in a couple thousand and got 1/6 as usual but the last 750 I've turned in was 1/8, which was markedly worse. It might still be a numbers game, but usually at those amounts, I get closer to the actual rate.
