The Red Rreign has been read to Kuuipo! Kuuipo says, "You call that literature?" Your pet has gained an alchemy point!

Wonders if that's a good weapon..i forget do we have to have the tokens at hand to try to get one. i did not get round to doing BQ with the lag last night was doing my head in..:(
THANK YOU! NHS... Think pink this October..
Nope so long as your tokens are in the currency bank you can spend them anywhere tokens are needed.
Oh ok cool thank you that's good to know..
THANK YOU! NHS... Think pink this October..
Can anyone lend some insight on how to beat Lukien? I've got four wins but he keeps kicking my butt and I'm highly frustrated.

So I normally start out with the tablets and helmet, with Sancturia Exodin. I've altered the C blade and ME with the trident. So far it seems and I could be wrong, the the blade and trident work better. But honestly nothing is really going well. I have occasionally skiped the helmet since I do know it doesn't freeze him, but it seems to help with my first round.
As he doesn't allow freezing (and he doesn't freeze you either, and there's nothing you can do about his partial freeze/ aka one weapon disabling curse), Shrieks, Psycho and Helmet do not really help much. At 6,000 Speed you have already outsped him so the key is to survive his curse and attack and chip away at his health. I find ME + Trident + Infinite Scroll (such as the Skelly you've got) a good combination against him due to his Blackout potion, plus his magma icons are not that much of a threat. I would suggest a set that looks something like: ME, Volatile Energized Mecha, Recycler Blaster, Soma Tablets, Trident, PQuill, Reviver and maybe another weapon of your choice (or a clutch healer such as Core of the Island or Amulet of Drakkonis, or a full block such as Shinwas Temple Shard or RVortex). I would place Skelly Scroll at the front and some multi-icon blocking scroll right after when you need to blast (or place Recycle Blaster and Soma Tablets first paired with Sanc - though I believe Cobalt would be better for its dark block - or better still, The Void). The rest would be blocking scrolls, such as The Void, Cobalts, Sancs, Spacial Abyss or even some Perilous Whirlpools. Fatal Fires wouldn't be too shabby either. You can squeeze in some Gift of the Forjs for additional emergency heals if you want. The key to using scrolls is not to deplete your blocking options at the beginning of the battle, when he hasn't boosted both his strength and defence and his curse hasn't kicked in too often. Cobalts, Sancs and even Perilous Whirlpools and Fatal Fires can help if you pair them with an infinite blocker of a different icon type whenever the curse is up. So for example, Fatal Fire blocks Dark and Fire, and I would pair it with Trident rather than ME whenever the curse is up (and I have run out of other blocking scrolls, for example). Reserve all the blocking scrolls for when your health is low and his curse is up. He can't crit you so you should be able to survive his attack even with the curse on with timely and strategic combination of weapons and scrolls. Good luck getting all the wins you need!
Thanks to the chaotic nature of the energies in the Rift, it seems this blade hurts the wielder as well. Use with caution.
I'm hoping the description means it won't be useful lol. Then people won't be sad when they can't get it from BHH.
thank you for all the wonderful tips. I tried a new round and fared much better. Didn't win lmao but I know that's just a patience game. Sometimes it really is all about when you use the scrolls I guess. strategy isn't honestly my forte. I'm a run in and whack anything in the area (I.E Wolverine) style battler.
[edit]You have defeated Lukien 5 times! I LOVE YOU! LOL THANK YOU!!! Weeeeeeeee
The description of the new weapon makes me think it damages you every turn you use it. Like Take Down causing recoil damage in Pokemon haha. Or maybe it inflicts a curse on yourself... Anyways I doubt it will be a good weapon. When was the last time we actually got a new decent weapon? And weapons really shouldn't be in BHH. They should be given out via challengers or SOMETHING actually related to battle. At least that's my opinion on the matter. :P
[Edit] Congrats !!!
I have never, in the... eleven? I think? years I've been playing here, even seen anything in the Hollow, let alone bought anything.
I hope the weapon isn't something I want, there are enough impossibilities on my wishlist as it is.
Well, BHH. We meet again...
I do okay at the Hollow, but sometimes it takes years to get something I really want, if ever. Haunted Moonstone? Eventually yes. PBow? Still have never seen it.
I have only ever seen one there and that was a day I did not have the tokens....
BHH is tricky... I can go weeks... to a month or even a little longer without seeing items... and then I could go days where I see (rarely snag) plenty.
Hmm it has a lot to do with timing, luck of course, and hoping those who do stalk it regularly are busy elsewhere. During events are some of the better times, not always but sometimes.
And any time something new is released, especially if it appeals to more than one group of people. BHH will be very busy today with it being a fight between people who want to try it for battling, for people who want it in their wardrobe, and restockers who want to sell it.
In my 11 years (12 years soon!) here, I have never seen BHH restock. I don't think it does. The people that say it does are lying...it's a conspiracy....the items...they're fake. ;)
You Won! You have defeated Prodigy Cynde earned 3500 EXP Points!
133k EXP saved so far!
I'm gonna try to get myself to do the first 10 BQs with Cohort as many days as I can this month. (There are definitely gonna be days that it just isn't gonna happen.)
A couple months ago I thought I might actually get Cohort to T6 by the end of the year, but then real life decided to run me over a couple dozen times. So now, I've decided my focus for the rest of the year is just to get them as far along as I can. (It would be fantastic to at least get their core stats into the 400s across the board.)
I hope that I will have the time and energy to work on my big battlers again in January.
