oh, i hope it's open again for one of the other steps. i missed the last morostide plot, but a lot of the image descriptions mentioned renovations + stuff, so i'm assuming a lot of the images are new? it'd be a huge bummer if you could only see them on the first day ;w;

Yeah, in the previous plot the mansion was a lot emptier and dustier/spookier. You could tell it was abandoned pretty much all of the time except during Morostide. And since Jaxon is a ghost, there were mentions of things like no food in the kitchen, no entertainment things in the living room, basically just an empty house.

The new descriptions give the implication that Ian has probably been spending a lot more time over there since the last plot, and they've made some renovations or at least cleaned up the place a bit to make it look decent and less like an eerie haunted house. :P

[edit]And yeah, I'm pretty sure a lot of the artwork for the mansion interior is new, or at least updated versions of the old ones. That wiki page I linked you last night has the images from the previous plot, if you wanted to compare next time we're able to get into the place.

Did you just get there? You should be able too, if you hover the mouse over them...is there dialogue under the picture? You may need the click the 'next' button...I can't remember if there was anything.

ah, good! i skimmed the summary you linked, but i guess i got distracted by ian's headshot 'cause that was the only image i remembered from that :p seeing the fixed wallpaper and the family photos and things versus the old beat up house is quite the contrast! i like this kind of world building (both with the house and the crypt's crystals and such), i'm excited to see what else we're going to get!

but gosh, ian must have quite the morning commute to get from jaxon's place in shadowglen to his lab in darkside :3c
