I love slide puzzles and loved doing this one. I think if I went on survivor though I would get all flustered. I am no Christian Hubicki

I should have chose the Spider puzzle instead looks way easier than Star Puzzle

Align three stars in every row/column. No more than three can be on each horizontal/vertical line, think Sudoku. If that doesn't quite help, here is the solved star puzzle I had.

Can someone tell me what the goal is for the star puzzle? I arranged them so there were three in each column, and then three in each row when that didn't work, but I'm still stuck. I really don't want to skip it.

So there are two different Puzzles depending on the two brothers.

Found this for slider puzzles and it worked for me

Begin by maneuvering the 1 and 2 into their proper positions in the upper left corner.
Position the 3 in the upper right corner.
Maneuver the 4 under the 3
Now slide the 3 to the left and the 4 up; the first row is done.
Repeat this process with next row, leaving row above intact.
Complete the puzzle by rearranging the pieces in the last two rows until they are in position.
Sometimes it's easier to create "snakes" of pieces in the proper order rather than put them in their final position individually.
1 and 2 pieces on a puzzle full of shapes is like saying "Put Dragon in space 1" When there is nothing but colors.
