I miss 's simpler contests, but I can't do 6-12 HAs for one contest especially if they all have to be humans representing a specific place and time, or specific historical humans--it's just not in me.

I think it's great that you're blue. When I do blue bases, in order to get the shading and contouring, I alternate between using a grey doll, the teal-ish blue doll (Aeronwy I think) and purplish doll, depending on the character--there are several I do regularly, like Getheny, Kelly, and Eshlan, and there's the blue crossbred catte, Marilly. (Marilly is more purple because the catte blood is purple.)

If Cereuti (the blue people in my universe) had "seasons" they would be based on how teal, purple, or grey the undertone of your skin is. (I also do a lot of pink makeup on Getheny's daughter Kelly, but that's because Kelly likes pink. For the same reason I use pink highlights on older Getheny, because after Kelly took to using the pink her mother decided she liked it too--but it never occurred to young Getheny.)

A lot of the muscle definition items are either very dark or have a brown tone, so if you want to do blue people with washboard abs or whatever (Geth's kinda ripped tbh) your best bet is the coconut oil item that made over the dolls (it's designed for nonstandard base skins) and you can also use the very dark, but greyish, Go Outside muscle items. Those are super super ripped, though, so if your character is very fit but not a pro bodybuilder, I layer them under the dolls to soften them.

If your character's skin undertone is grey/silver, then some of the items with white 'sparkles' that are ridiculous on brown and black people can work for you as long as they are in a colour that coordinates with your character. There are also some teal and lavender blushers that are "Pawesome".

I don't know why I could never make that dress work, even on Kelly whom I thought it would suit, but it's amazing on you :)

I'm not as wild with makeup IRL as I am with the cattes but that is partly because what worked for me for the first 35 years of my life stopped working around age 40 and I have not quite got the hang of it. I can do a simple lolita/gyaru style makeup that looks good and fresh and flattering on me, but too much makeup really ages me.

I've had kind of a complex about it ever since some friends and I were making ourselves up at an overnight party and one of them said, "you normally look so young, what on earth did you do?" I looked every day of my age and as is usual I was the oldest one there, so.... Also my ability to wear black near my face is much decreased.

You change yours so much, I can't keep up XD Although you did keep the kitty one for a few days!
