God yes it does, feeling awful waking up in the middle of the night, trying to get a nap in oh wait he is hungry now too XD; I nearly died XD had my parents come over and watch him for a few hours when my husband and I were BOTH sick XD couldn't handle it needed the rest

I have to come in earlier to work now than I've been doing in the past year, so ... okay? Awake, anyway, thanks to the huge pots of tea I make in my office now that they decided to go on a health kick and fill 90% of the vending machines with bottled water so that we're always running out of diet coke. It's ridic because it's a very slow work day for me. Maybe I'll do all next week's shit ahead of time.

(I get that we're a hospital and we shouldn't be pushing corn syrup, but diet drinks should be fine and we're also a county hospital, which means most of our patients are broke and don't need to pay $2 for a bottle of something that comes from the tap for free.)

Lol yeah that would be the trick. I hope when hunter gets a certain age we can go on a vacation of some sort on our own but I also wanna take him with us so guess we will see when it comes up XD

That is frustrating -.- one of our family members doesnt allow their kids to have corn syrup. Is it that bad even if you just like let them have the candy on halloween? Our coffee maker at work keeps spewing out like a TON of grounds its so gross I cant make any coffee T.T

well personally I hate corn syrup. I'm just annoyed that I can't get a diet coke when they run out because only 3 slots in the machine are alloted to it.

Corn syrup and high-fructose corn syrup are different tbh. The problem with HFCS is that there may be something about the ratio of different sugars in it that the body reacts to differently from regular corn syrup, cane sugar, etc--the studies are confusing as there are different results. But what is known is that people started to get much fatter much faster after everyone started eating all that "low fat food" full of extra sugar and all the soda manufacturers switched to HFCS. Personally I would walk a mile to avoid HFCS but I did not know it was in Halloween candy!
