I feel pretty bad, I've never played skyrim with a mod, it's like I'm missing out on an entire world.

got it downloading now, will see shortly, meantime gotta go to the shops like an adult rabble rabble

I got into skyrim about 6 months ago and got some really prettify the world mods fairly quickly, based on this vid by MXR who does some very tongue in cheek (and no so tongue it cheek) jokes through all his vids. It sort of spiralled from there and now I have a few other mods like extra weight, no having to clean out your bags as often, and a super pretty premade character face because I suck at designing characters with those sorts of sliders.

anyone awaiting the new WoW expansion in 3 days? i need the new races so badly

I am, played some of the beta and can't wait to get myself a Zandalari troll.

MH:W bit of a let down, booted me out of my first multiplayer session whilst fighting the first set of monsters. The networking on steam (or because of MH:W can't work out which) is garbage at the moment and is unfortunately a real chore to set up in the first case. Wasted a lot of potions because X (which is usually attack in games I play with a controller) is the hotkey for potions and Y is attack. I'll try it again next weekend when not feeling so disappointed with the whole shebang and probably go with KB + mouse combo.

Meantime back to Octopath, at least it's turn based.

Except maybe the raiders...even they themselves have to realize they're just huge jerks haha. I'm really having trouble with Nuka-World because I don't want to have anything to do with them. I kinda just want to wipe them all out but I've grown to like the companion from there a little so it's tough. There really are no easy choices in this game...even when it seems like it should be simple.

Maybe we'll get to do more as leaders of our factions in future games...I hope so, I think that would be pretty neat.

I've got two Fallout Shelter vaults, one that pretty much has everything but it's a chaotic mess and another that I made to try to optimize the layout once I knew what I was doing, but I kinda got bored and wandered off halfway through. I figure I'll go back to it eventually though...it'll always be there on my phone if I find myself with nothing to do while I'm waiting somewhere. I hope I haven't missed out on any really great events but it was starting to seem like all the rewards were getting pretty repetitive anyway.

As for PoGO, I just caught a cactus thing the other day that really put up a fight (I don't think I'm even supposed to see those here but it's been that excessively hot this summer...the weather-based spawns are interesting) and now I'm out of balls. Boo.

lol, i always do the same layout. i'm not sure of the best layout, i go with my gut.

i know that about being hot. it was in the 100s for a whole week a few weeks ago. i've seen so many pokemon XD i hate running out of pokeballs, so i save them up.

i don't use mods either (mostly because i don't know how and also worried they might mess up my computer) so i relate haha. let our characters be vanilla love your avatar btw!!

i'm so sorry to hear the game was disappointing - i can definitely see why. it always sucks when you have high hopes for a game and it just.. doesn't deliver. hopefully the next time you choose to play it'll go a lot better!

@ alien gonna give it another shot tonight using KB and mouse. Maybe I can go FPS style with a bow or something until I work out the controls. I kept whacking my poor Palico ;_;

Oof, over 100 for a week? It's been in the 90s here, which is bad enough, but I guess I should remember it could always be worse. But now, on top of the heat, we have a ton of smoke in the air from wildfires and that makes it extra stifling. Same thing happened last summer...prior to that, I'd never seen anything quite like this...days and days of air so polluted, stuff across the street looks hazy. Can barely see any stars at night - and it's not cloudy, just smoky. I guess this is what summers are going to be like now.

I used to have plenty of Pokeballs saved up but I've gradually depleted them. It's been hard replenishing my items ever since they put the speed limiter thing on Pokestops.

yep! it was freaking awful. /o we've had fires too, luckily not near me, but near enough where we can see/smell the smoke. :/ i hope not every summer is like this, it's horrible.

i don't even bother trying to catch high cp pokemon lol so i've been saving up some pokeballs

I mostly play Nintendo these days (sadly can't afford more) but I am currently working my way through Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and various Fire Emblem games (FE4, FE7, FE8). I am also an avid player of Pokemon Go and Fire Emblem Heroes if that counts.

Fun fact is that my very first game console was a commodore 64 that I shared with my siblings and the first game I played was Magicland Dizzy.

I now think I have a problem.....

I bought 2 more Funko Pop! Figures..... Kratos (God of War) then I also got Sylvester & Tweety (Looney Toons) XD oops....

It starts small ... And then you end up with 100 of them.

True story.
