I can see how all the factions seem to suck as they appear now but Fallout 4 spoilers again, not sure how strict we are here about that but I don't mind being cautious
even though as Director I don't seem to have much real control over the Institute's direction in the actual game, I headcanon that I can run it in a much kinder way, not make the mistakes of the previous leadership, and I really do see it as the best hope for the future of humanity out of all the factions available. I don't think it's inherently evil.
To answer your question, on my phone I've played Pokemon GO, Fallout Shelter and Pocket Mortys. The only one I still mess with somewhat consistently is Pokemon GO but since the changes to the gyms and the huge focus on raid battles I've played a LOT less. They've put way more emphasis on teamwork and since I work nights and don't know anyone else who still plays, it just doesn't work for me. When I've tried to show up for raids there's never anyone there and I can't defeat anything by myself (and to be honest, I really don't want to have to deal with other people, especially in real life) so whatever. I used to do whole day-long outings that required an external battery pack but I've gotten a lot more casual about the game now. It's clear I'll never get the legendaries so that has greatly dampened my enthusiasm.
I'd really like to help the Railroad; they'd easily be my first choice to support if the Institute wasn't an option. More Fo4 spoilers
I literally had to get drunk and try not to actually pay attention to what I was doing when it came time to take out the Railroad; that was just the worst, ugh. I really don't think of my character as evil; he's just had to make a lot of morally-ambiguous and difficult choices - because the game forces you into them - and I feel like hopefully it's the right thing to do for the greater good in the long run. Maybe it's not, but it's what I tell myself haha. I think it's actually a lot more interesting though that there isn't really a clear-cut good and righteous path through the game. That just wouldn't be realistic.

that is absolutely hilarious! and i agree, the way FO lays out these choices there is no inherent right or wrong. everyone has a motive, everyone thinks they're doing the right thing in their own world.
i had a feeling you were joking hahahah. i have bioshock but it's so hard? i can't get used to it and rage quit ages ago. i regret it.
it's such a gorgeous game! and it's way more than just a dress up game. the lore is pretty detailed.
i know! i wish we could have more control over the factions :/ i'm the same in pokemon go. i don't leave my little area much, so i can't send gifts or do raids. :( fallout shelter is so much fun! i play it on steam, but i've had it on my phone before & i never got very far XD
