I'm ready for Survival, questing every day is a little boring when there isn't much going on. I'm doing better, though still stressed out. I wish spring would get here but snow is in the forecast for most of this weekend again. Still playing Dragon Age Inquisition, I only have two main story quests left but a lot of side missions.
Henlo everyone! I hope it's alright for me to pop in?
I'm primarily a Nintendo gamer atm but I do love all platforms! Did anyone else see that Nintendo Direct today? I need people to geek out with about it ^^;
no animal crossing ;cccc i am hoping it gets its OWN Direct maybe next month
Yeah I’m fairly certain when New Leaf was released it got its own Directs so we will see. Same about the Switch, I only wanted it for Pokémon and Animal Crossing lmao. I have AC pre-ordered through GameStop so that bitch is mine on release day but IT WOULD BE NICE TO KNOW WHEN THAT IS. ;(
Thank you! It's only a matter of time before we get news on AC. I did notice they didn't really cover any releases for third and fourth quarter in this last direct so maybe they'll save it for E3? It is a highly anticipated title so they might keep that under wraps until then.
I have no doubt we'll be getting Pokemon news in the next coming weeks. Usually new gens are announced officially in quarter one and they still have to dedicate time to hype-bulding and marketing. I'm eagerly awaiting the next gen of Pokemon :D
and did you have the best videogame-filled vday? o: your boyfriend sounds like a keeper!
oof - that's some heavy work! do you get snow days at all? (as in, days off)
hopefully you manage to get in some kisses! take all the rest you can get, it sounds like you need it :c ❤️
it would! but everything is different here, which i personally love about survival :> will you be doing some kissing, too?
hello there -- of course that's alright! i have not heard about nintendo direct and had to look it up, it seems to be a news site for all things nintendo? o:
Yes he was actually playing re2 remake, albeit painful and dizzy to watch. He had fun though so I think I’ll try to get him to continue playing today.
I mentioned he was not a gamer I think? His not a very good shot and would miss quite a bit, that part was fine. What was killing me was he would never pay attention to when he needed to reload and wouldn’t allow himself enough distance to reload so the zombies would attack him every time. He would also get way too close after he knocked them down so they would lunge at him and attack his legs. He also doesn’t know how to evade zombies and bait them. Baiting could be tricky but he would literally run right into them instead of running away from them x.x
And then he kept using that useless knife instead of the 30 bullets he had.
hahahaha oh man i suppose at least he's saving ammo? (':
i used to be like that though (still awful at shooters) and now i just abuse the reload button
I mean there’s no harm in reloading all the time when you have the opportunity. For example, I downed a zombie and still had 4/5 bullets in the chamber but reloaded anyway since I wasn’t being attacked. After he finishes downing an enemy he’ll have like 1-2 bullets left and not reload after so the next time he encounters an enemy he is stuck reloading while they attack him. Then he gets mad when I try to help him because he wants to figured it out for himself. It surprises me because he has played RE5 with me and you’re always reloading but I guess he never actually solo’ed it and I was always covering him.
I've been pretty bad about keeping up with the Nintendo Directs. I get focused on playing on one system and ignore the others. I started out gaming on a NES and pretty much stuck with Nintendo systems until I played Skyrim on PS3. I do need to start keeping up with info for the next AC game.
I flip flop between being bad at reloading and reloading whenever I have the chance. My husband and I play Borderlands together and reloading can take a painfully long time when you're being shot at by 15 baddies.
Yeah I mean you shouldn’t be reloading in the middle of battle unless you really need to. When you do, do it under cover. It’s more of just not reloading after the battle is over so that you are short shots for the next encounter.
With Borderlands, each weapon has a different number of shots per reload. Sometimes that number is 45, sometimes it's 20 and sometimes it's 6 and I always avoid using the guns that use two bullets per shot. There are also some locations in the game where there is limited to no cover when you get attacked. It's a fun game but it can be frustrating at times.
Yeah I never got into borderlands myself. There were too many weapons and a lot of them were not useful and I remember getting really frustrated with the mechanics. Not all shooters are the same, that’s for sure.
I'll allow kissing, its arbitrary anyway. After accumulating enough I'll randomly gift the rest.
I've been playing Soul Caliber III the last few weeks without autosave, I wondered why I kept unlocking the same thing three times over. I'll be glad to finish, I'll never play it after again.
Talking about Spyhunter sparked a short discussion about a series called "Viper". My friend tells me it was based on the game's idea, simply a different car.
There are definitely a few things about Borderlands that are frustrating, like the health system in the first game and some of the boss battles. I tend to stick to sniper rifles in the game because it's easier to just pick a perch far away and pick off enemies one by one. Otherwise, I'll use a rocket launcher to take out a big group. I love playing as Claptrap in Pre-Sequel because his commentary is hilarious. If you shoot someone and they explode, Claptrap might exclaim 'meat confetti!' Destiny 2 is similar with different weapons having different ammo capacities. I haven't played that game in months because I just can't get used to the big change they made with weapon systems.
I really deserve a veeery long nap after all this. The commute is definitely a deal breaker as I am sleeping most of my unslept nights in the bus. It doesn't cover enough tbh, but it will do ...
