Sheesh. He's quite annoying with that shield of his, but I used MW+Swash modded with fire, earth, magma, and light marquis defense crystals coupled with Aftershocks and I was able to generally stop his damage. When he hit like a truck, I fell back on a Void scroll for safety, but that was few and far between.

Nah it's fine, I just pulled R160 bug looking items from my shop cause I wanted to try and help research what items work :) I just got paranoid I was doing something wrong so that's why I threw all the caterpillars at him.. I feel bad for not testing more ahh It is a little weird that the spider doesn't work though :P

i don't know why the can of worms doesn't work, but apparently the evil spider used to be restockable so maybe it doesn't have the same item "tag" as the rest of quentin's reward-bugs o:
