that sounds like a great idea to watch a TV show while you exercise. I can't seem to do that myself, but I do read while I exercise which hardly anyone else does. Reading is what I enjoy most though :)

I can read while walking on a treadmill and also stair stepper and even, now I figured out how to, read while doing rowing machine too.

Kinda makes me sad.

we've been watching some weird movies and a lot of them based on true stories. the one last night was about two sisters killing their mom for being a drunk and drug addict. they served their time in prison and now the oldest is studying to be a lawyer. go figure lol

I am not into zombie shows much either, too horror-ish. But I Zombie is more like a comedy/mystery/science fiction show than horror, so I like it OK. The bad guys are kind of annoying/off putting in it, but the main characters are really good.

Still hurts him and not totally healed but they said not to leave the stitches in any longer

The reason I'm able to watch TV on the treadmill is the Comcast/xfinity app. I use my tablet and can prop it on a shelf hubby put on my treadmill. Reading while on the move is a good skill!! :-) I Zombie eh? I'll look for it.

So I figured out why I have such a hard time reading these days. (and to think when I was young, reading was always the most important obsession in my life) My eyes tend to water a lot and then steam up my glasses. It's so annoying and mainly why I don't read as much these days.

It totally sounds like a situation I may have been in when I was young and I can imagine how difficult yet exciting it is.

do you like listening to audio books? I think that's what I would do if I started having eye problems while reading.

iZombie is one of my very favourite shows. The bad guys are offputting, but I don't mind because they're also very clearly BAD guys. Also, it's a Rob Thomas show (like Veronica Mars) and I like the writing. Liv is so cute. I'm kind of a Liv/Major shipper.

I personally couldn't replace real books with audiobooks because I have shite auditory discrimination and I can only follow podcasts with transcripts, but I know a lot of people like to be read to.

yes, I like the writing too, and agree Liz is cute. I love how she has a different personality every episode from eating different brains. 😄

I don't especially find it reassuring or helpful that the bad guys are clearly bad... I mean I know a lot of people find that helps, just not me. 😔

Definitely listening to books is worse (for me) than reading them, but it sounds like it wouldn't work at all for you. I hope you don't get any eye problems! You'd have to learn Braille if you did I guess 😮

Yes and I've listened to a few books and do really enjoy it. Truthfully, I can read on the phone a bit easier but have trouble finding a good ebook. I do have one on hold and hopefully it will be good. It's Caravans by James A. Michener, an author who's books I've enjoyed in the past.

I woke up late too - 6:45 am hah! I try to sleep in but never can. And the sad part is I can't stay up late cause jerks dog next door usually starts barking around 7 am. And it's directly below the head of my bed so maybe 16 feet away at most. Grrrrrrrr
