this lag is insane. it's actually gotten worse since i got offline about an hour and a half ago. refreshing and opening links in a new tab doesn't really work. you sort of just have to keep waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting.

For the love of Shinwa, please don't start Masquerade when the site is crawling like this.

13 1/2 hours since initial lag report. No improvement, no staff response, and an additional at least 4 pages on this thread alone of reported lag. Great.

Error code 522 a couple of times on different parts of subeta and LOTS of slooooooowwww... lags. Hard to even do much on the site.

I was wondering if it was just me. Holy cow, the site is not even playable at this point. I'm attempting Shinwa's quests and is taking several minutes for items to load and then once they do, it starts all over again with actually attempting to purchase anything. What a bummer. I guess it will be a second day this week I'm unable to do quests...

I get why everyone's annoyed, I'm annoyed too. But I'm not complaining about the site as a whole or about the staff because I'm sure they're busy working on it right now. And there's no new items in the directory so I don't think they'll be starting Masquerade today because of the lag. Would you prefer it to start now and be unable to dance or buy new items, or would you prefer it to start tomorrow or another day when things are running more smoothly? Yes, it could be better, but I really don't think the staff intended for it to get that bad, in fact, I think the downtime was to prevent something like this, but either they missed something or it just wasn't enough and would have happened anyway even without the downtime. And I'm sure that once everything's sorted, they'll make it up to us in some way. And even if they don't, at least they still worked hard to get the site to function properly.

You are right. My apologies to the Subeta team for my complaining earlier and thank you Princezz for teaching me a lesson on my bad manners!

seriously? again? why does the server give up every time an event starts? you can't do anything here since yesterday, just this post needed 5 tries, page setup if at all, over 3 minutes...

I’m just annoyed with the lag, I know staff are working hard. Glad that nothing new has been added to the site, and we have to wait for Masq, so be it, that just means a more stable running Subeta.

I see it's been mostly 522 errors, but I just got a different one.

Lag on every page.

522 errors when page times out after incredible lag. I've been off and on all day and tabs are regularly timing out. PLEASE fix this before the event...

Were this unusual, or had this been addressed when it started, I wouldn't be mad. But this lag has now been ongoing for 15 HOURS with no improvement. To add to that, as I've stated before, the lag used to begin on a regular basis at 2am site time that changed to 3am when DST hit and that has been being reported in this thread for MONTHS without being addressed in any fashion.

okay, so after 12 hours still laggy... I guess I just stop playing for today (already 1 p.m. here anyway) could not get any quests done - still stuck on Saggi

Really upset I can't do my (GA bonus included) quests, had to struggle for hours to finish a profile order

This lag is bull.

I'll wait another week if it means that Masq doesn't kill the site practically.
