So far. I grabbed a lot of things I wanted and had some decent purchases off of me right at the start. How's it going for you?

some items, added a lot to my cart earlier that I'll be combing through one more time before buying it. Then going to add more, comb through it, etc. Had some buys too, which is very nice.

I don't have great luck with the raffle either--I always seem to get items I don't want that look like they should sell well but don't.

Do you really think people who set absurd low prices are doing it to snap up the items? I don't because I see prices drop from like 70000 SP to 10000 SP and a bunch of people just follow along blindly using the autopricer. I'm usually the one who ends up buying a ton of crap for my shop because I don't want to sell an item I restocked to sell for less than I paid!

I figure it's someone who's relatively new. I have seen people who recently came from Gaia do this a lot because Gaia has no autopricer and this huge culture of "let's fix inflation!" even though it's impossible to fix because Gaia gold/plat shops have all items all the time (no restocking) and you can sell them back to the store, but GC (their version of CSC) items can be sold for gold/plat.

I mean one of the reasons I quit doing custom items and recolours on Gaia is that they sh!t on you there for trying to keep prices from falling on your own customs. (I made all the thylacine items on Gaia, along with a bunch of things that are references to the RPs I run--you can search "valiska" in the marketplace.)

I honestly only use it hoping to get the ones I need, or to amass enough to trade 5 in and hope I get one I need from that. I just toss them in my wardrobe or my vault as needed. None of them really sell well, most people are patient and will wait until they drop below 50k to buy.

I've seen quite a few people run the market that way. I'm not saying everyone does that - some folks just want a quick sale or they know based on rarity that it'll drop anyhow soon and are trying to unload before it becomes an item that just sits there maybe. But folks who price low right around the start of a new day? Definitely hoping to grab the AP ones that follow suit.

I haven't looked at my Gaia account in.....idek how long. I have old old old things that are supposedly worth lots but like, the inflation is so out of control and the site runs so poorly, that I don't bother. Especially since they tanked the OMG game.
