You have to desensitize them. Leave one carrier out at all times so they get used to it being out. Leave the door open so they can go in and out of it if they choose too. Then, after a while, start putting treats in there. Once they associate the carrier with good things, getting them in there will be easier. We did this for an extremely skittish cat we have. It took a year to do it, but we got her in a carrier in about 10 minutes as opposed to 40 like last year.

Thanks but I have already tried all of that. ;) Never had to put more than 2 in a carrier so would only have to carrier all 4 if we needed to evacuate. Hope that never happens.

I didn't get a chance to do much this Vesnali, between my kids being sick (we are off to the doctor later today), a funeral and Cub Scout happenings, I was just so busy. Thank Goodness I have a hoard of coins left over from last year. I'll be in Esther's Shop all week.

I had a hoard of coins from last year also but spent almost all of them because I didn't get many this year. Just glad I don't need/want everything in the shop, I only got the few items I wanted. Hope everyone did well this year and got what they needed. It's kind of annoying though that there were no new achievements and the shop has disappeared from the news page so we have to hunt for it if we want to get anything else. Oh and by the way Cinthia is still giving out flowers for quests.

Peek_A_Boo fluttered her adorable eyes and asked me to start a flower collection & gardening treasure for her. My next year goal will be to get as many bouquets & flowers for her :)

edit: checked quests, Cinthia yes but Alexander no longer gives archive prize. 1 better than none :)

I'm still getting used to not having to look for floating flowers anymore. I keep finding myself refreshing a page for no reason and expecting something to pop up, lol.

Are we back over here now? What's the next event up? Seems like there's some down time during the summer, right?

Alegarten is sometime over the summer now, so that should be the next major event. I don't know exactly when it will be though, because we have like 3 summer months between now and the next batch of back-to-back holidays starting in September with Keelhauliday and the site's anniversary.

So yeah, Alegarten and then some other random summer events or something. Maybe a quest-a-thon or some other sort of contest things like they do sometimes.

Doesn't bug catching start in the summer? Or is it the bird watching?

And yeah, it's hard not to keep watching for flowers. ;)

I don't think we ever got bird watching for spring yet, so I don't know what they're going to do with that...

I can't remember when the bird watching usually starts, I thought it was spring but I guess not.

FYI, Cinthia is still giving flowers for her quests ;)
