Mum corrected me on the price - apparently it's 60 for an inspection, and more like 150 for the filling 😊 But that's still less than over there! For us it all depends on which dentist you go to, as the one who sorted out my wisdom tooth was a higher grade (he's officially a dental surgeon) than the regular one. I dread to think what it'd cost in London though - I think that'd be likely to be even higher!

It's weird how prices can change just depending on which state / city you're in o.O

Oh yes, that does seem like a better price range overall, otherwise I was thinking it might be cheaper to fly over there to get a filling next time. ;) lol giggles

Oh yes, the dental surgeons for wisdom teeth removal cast waaaaaay more than regular dentists around here too. I had to have all mine removed when I was 14 or so they were all pointed directly into the roots of my back molars - lame right? lol IDK what they were thinking. My mom was lucky and all her wisdom teeth just came in like normal teeth.

You'd be surprised but often costs for certain procedures go down when you enter bigger cities simply because there is more competition. It's not always true but it does work out for some services around where I live. When there is only one place to get your hair cut, for example, they can charge whatever they want. But when there are 50 or 100 different places to choose then the price generally stabilizes at some place everyone is willing to pay. A bonus is that a lot of places will offer discount or coupons when there is more competition. :D

IDK why but all of the sudden I envisioned a frosted doughnut in my head and now I really want one, even though I can't eat it! LOL

Someone randomly gifted me 500 csc and I was able to pay off a debt for a cw, I was so thankful! :D <3 It was anonymous though so I don't know who to thank but I am saying it here cause maybe they are stalking my messages and will see it? Outside of migraines I am doing really well today! It's a bright sunny day outside and it rained all through the night, so it's great. I love it when it is sunny. Kodiak ripped out a few stitches on his belly but I checked and it appears to be ok. It's been just over 2 weeks so I think it'll be fine. ^.^ He is doing great though.

Totally had that happen many times. :P I have a lot of games, and its a lot to keep up with and remember. lol

whoa, that's a young age to need them removed! I had that one out a couple of years ago - the tooth had started falling apart, so by the time I got as far as getting a referral to that dentist (the regular one refused to do it), there wasn't much visible tooth left 😊 That's a very good point! Unfortunately in this city, they all just seem to price things high "because everyone else is". Although you can get your hair cut cheaply by going to the college and getting a trainee to do it (for highlights I think they charge £20-£30 instead of going to a 'proper' hairdresser who would charge more like £70+ o.O) Definitely a random thought! I wonder if you could figure out a doughnut-flavoured smoothie or something....

Thanks :D I couldn't resist trying to keep with the Masquerade looks (although I might run out of inspiration by the time Masq actually starts! 😊) And I was hoping it was clear enough to be Green Arrow - I want to get on and work on the pet with that theme, but I keep coming up against a brick wall when I try figuring out his profile design :K That jumper works amazingly well with the fevermore skin! :D

I asked the pattern designer for some advice on how big I need to make it - what she said actually made sense to me laughs so I'm feeling a little more confident with it now ;) Awesome! Oh yes, they have colleges around here that do the same thing (hair cuts for cheap). You can even go to a dentist school and get dental cleanings for really cheap too.

Yes, I know a totally random though, right?! LOL A doughnut smoothie flavor? Hmm.... now that would be something unique. I wonder what the flavor profile would be? Outside of sugary vanilla I don't know what it would be that could make it like a doughnut!
