There's a load of adverts for hybrid cars here, but there don't tend to be all that many on the road (not that I've noticed anyway), although I think the park & ride bus service uses hybrids (they still kick out a load of fumes heading up the steep hill though!) ;) I never know if other countries are ahead of us (most likely) or behind with stuff like that ;)

I have seen a number of hybrid cars, and I think two of my uncles own hybrids. :-) About half the local buses are hybrids now, I believe. I have a feeling that overall, we are probably about even with you on that, but you might be slightly ahead! Who knows with these current, ah, lunatics we have running things here. x.x
