Yeah, I bet he will get a lot brighter, too! Snidget doesn't seem too happy either. I heard that the first molt is the most uncomfortable. My birds usually get grumpy during their first one. xD

Sparky's got a bit of a 'feather problem' around one eye - can't remember the proper name for it, but it's where they get multiple feathers growing from one shaft, so they kind of clump. Thankfully he can't pull them out, otherwise he'd be making it really sore! Hopefully Snidget will moult quite quickly, and be back to his normal self ;) I did think Sparky's moult was going to be a lot of feathers in a short space of time, but it seemed to be a lot of feathers over several weeks in the end (guessing that's because he's an English budgie and has more feathers overall o.O)

It probably won't start until I'm offline for the night, but I might see if I can sneak back on this evening just to check ;) I'm loving some of the items they've got listed so far! :D

Yeah, same here. =( At least during the day I can consciously stop myself from doing it. There's not much I can do about it when I am sleeping, with the exception of using the mouth guard. xD

Aww, that sounds kind of painful, poor Sparky! I hope so. xD With the looks of things, he's pretty far along already. There are feathers all around his cage, and he's got a bunch of pin feathers on his head as well. I would help him with those, but he's not too keen on me preening his head. 😂 Yeah, my birds usually take a few weeks, too. The funniest thing to watch was Pompom's molt! Since I had food dyed her purple, the molt was really obvious. xD She's almost completely white again now, with the exception of a few purple head and wing feathers. I think I am going to try rainbow next time!

Yeah, it still hasn't started yet! I am also excited about some of the stuff I am seeing in the directory. :D

Sparky doesn't like any of his feathers being touched really - I was able to tickle his tummy with a tissue earlier, but once he seemed to realise what I was doing, he moved to the opposite side of the cage :P ROFL That would defintely have been an amusing moult for Pompom! And I reckon rainbow would look really cute! :D I love the musical outfit today :d (read the edit)

[edit] ....that was weird, we just had a small earthquake here - the computer monitor was shaking like crazy, you could hear everything creaking, and all the birds flew off from the trees outside. I went to look at the British earthquake monitoring website, and it looks like everyone else had the same idea - the website crashed :P Only the second ever earthquake I've experienced ....apparently they're saying it was a 4.4 magnitude, with the centre in south Wales (about 65 miles away).

We don't get earthquakes all that often, but apparently there's on average three 3 magnitude earthquakes each year in the UK, one 4 magnitude every 3 or 4 years, and one 5 magnitude every 20-or-so years.

whoa, how does he find time to study with 15 pets?! I couldn't resist, once I saw all the nuclear sewing stuff in Skitters' shop :P There didn't seem to be any damage, it was just a totally crazy experience! The weirdest bit was the roof creaking - it sounded like it was creaking from a gale force wind, but there was no breeze at all o.O

well he does have two house elves, but a lot of them take care of themselves. It looks brilliant :D that does sound wild. We've had two I've experienced--well I slept through one of those haha.

Apparently Grandad heard the doors creaking and shaking, but didn't really have a clue what was going on ;) Gran seemed utterly oblivious to it :P hehe the first one was about 1am or something similar (about 10 years ago), but it still woke me up (previously I'd even been known to sleep through thunderstorms, and even slept through the fire brigade coming into the road to sort out a fire in a garage at the other end of the road, when I was a kid :P)

That is definitely an interesting zombie disease you have at the moment - what the heck is that going to turn into?! I love the way you've layered it with the Northern Lights :D

Not sure how I will do it just yet, it be nice to have the couch ready the day I move in tho, so that I have a comfy place to sit down and relax afters. :) My dad said he take me to stores, they tend to be a bit outside of the city centre and not as easy to get to without a car . :)

That'd definitely be a great idea if it was possible to get it to work like that :D And yeah, a lot of our furniture places tend to be quite a way from the city centre too - and for things like the couch, you really want to be able to sit on one in the store to see just how comfy it actually is! ;)

:nods: I asked the seller to take some measurements too in the livingroom, so that I'll know what could fit in there. :) I dont want to end up buying something that is just not the right size. ;) I like a couch that is comfy, of course, and with room for some guests too. :)

that's perfect - you definitely don't want to find you can't even get the couch through the door! Actually, I'd probably have forgotten all about needing another chair for any guests 😊 they'd just have to sit on the floor if it was me :P
