I bet the machine is nice and lulling. I use a fan for the noise. Or an occasional hot flash. :-D I wear ear plugs and about a year ago discovered putting a small pillow over my head too, but when the dog is virtually one thin wall and 12 feet from me it will wake me. I'm really close to filing a report on them, but just doesn't seem neighborly. Some other neighbors are mad at them for neglecting their dog and have complained to the husband who is at work when most of the barking is happening. For the last week I've hardly heard it barking, but who knows how long it will last.

my kid is doing ok in his classes so far this spring but it's early yet so who knows. He really needs to get his GPA up. he turned 21 and had a drink out with his dad but he isn't overly thrilled about alcohol so that's good.

I wish he'd at least try to practice driving though

Hope the dog stays quiet. Poor critter. My nephew had a loud barky dog for a while. Part of it was the breed and part was he just didn't train the dog well at all and somewhat neglected it too (not always, but too often... :( )

that's the main reason i don't get a dog I think... I worry my husband would take care of it that same way and I'd feel like he was neglecting it and we'd fight. With the cats I can do all the stuff for them and what he needs to do he takes care of. But I've never been a dog owner and I would obsess over what I wasn't doing...

He was old and no muscle left in his rear legs. Hubby and I carried him around for a week or two and then he stopped eating so I knew it was time. I was hoping he would pass at home while I was holding him so I wouldn't have to take him to the vet...it was hard but I'm ok now. I'm so glad Malu is doing so well and it sounds like he has won your heart!!

You nailed it with the dog! A somewhat barky dog, (golden retriever - he's really cute) but owners that don't know how to train him and a wife that doesn't care about him. They're young and right after they moved in they got the dog and she got pregnant. About a year and a half ago.

I still have to read another 30+ pages and submit another test but 5ish on Tuesday. I'm not at all happy with the way this instructor is dealing with an Intro course, sure way to push people out and I don't think there were very many to begin with.

I'm usually always masculine presenting unless it's like pride then I'm super feminine lol) And this was my only surgery I'm doing, or plan on doing. And yeah especially since I'm on the edge of lake stevens and granite falls.

Yes, often they develop a renal failure in their old days and loose kalium over the urine, then the muscles become floppy like this especially on the hind legs. However, old or young, it´s always hard to let them go, my heart goes out to you, love, big big soothing hug! <3

I have lots of things because I love mint/peppermint a LOT. ^.^ You and Liz for sure need to try the pink peppermint if you ever see it (or even white because when you stir it, it becomes pink).

I just wasn't ready. The vet said there was nothing we could do to help him and they were all so nice at the vet's and I cried the whole time. I'm usually very tough but he was so special.

What kinds of recipes? We do always make sure to buy Peppermint Trident during the holidays. lol

I have recipes for peppermint cookies (a few different kinds - like homemade girls scout mint patty cookies), peppermint brownies, peppermint cookie/brownie bars (heavenly stuff really), peppermint chocolate molten lava cake (aka hot fudge pudding cake), peppermint chocolate layered cake, peppermint oatmeal (we already discussed this one), peppermint hot cocoa (all homemade not from packets), and peppermint fudge, homemade york peppermint patties.

I am sure I have others that I am forgetting about, but it would only take me looking in my recipe book. Really the only one not really sweet is the oatmeal. I generally just mix the dark chocolate cocoa powder with mint and oats and call it good, only my mom likes it sweeter with some sugar. The second healthiest thing would be the molten lava cake (even though it does not sound it, it is actually healthy with very low sugar and zero fat with my recipe).

no idea, all i know is when i seen it.. i thought it was a very ugly wig. xD

and OMG! I FEEL for you with the STUPID DOG problem! heh when we moved into this house, the people next door (young couple, nice) but he had Hunting Dogs! there were about 6 dog houses/cages and at least 2 dogs in every cage (not counting when they had puppies) and O. M. G! The HOLLING and BARKING EVERY DAMN NIGHT AND DAY! and of course, this home is just a cheap construction, and the walls are like paper.

(my bedroom was on southside of house. the tiny 3rd room was on the north side) of course. heh. about a month after i moved Every Thing into the room. they moved out. Seriously! heh. it wasn't till we got another dog (no longer have) he was a big dog, and needed to be trained, that was when i realized, I NEVER TRAINED THAT SPOILED BRAT DOG IN ANYTHING except to come when called (only because she knows i fed her!) lol ALL our dogs, I had always trained to come and sit, if nothing else. (usually 'no') but with her, I DIDN'T DO A THING. lol cause she fit in the palm of our hand, and was SUCH a baby cutie, that I never even thought about it! BAD MOMMY WITCH. lol

I always HATED, , that pet food and diapers were not on the WIC list! (that's how my kids grew up) i mean. WE NEED PAPER PRODUCTS AND CLEANING PRODUCTS, wth?

and the COST of the diapers! (because there was NO Way i was doing cloth. sorry. tried to do that with 2nd kid, and it didn't last long At All) heh.
