Goodness I'm glad that your daughter had sense enough not to stop when she saw that guy. :( I hate to say it, but predators like to use peoples kindness against them. Around Christmas a guy saw a lady on the side of the road and she waved him down to stop because he thought she had car trouble. When he stops to check on her two other guys come out of the car and beat him up and stole his money and car. It's not safe to be a good Samaritan anymore. I just tell the younger ones to call the police and let them sort it out if they need help or not.

i'm going to be needing to get her some more wet food, and i think that's when I'll get the clippers. plus a couple more other treats. i got her Halo treats (vegan) but she doesn't like them. hahahaaaaa she likes the RAchael Ray foods, and the man can never find that. so i was able to get some dry and wet of that brand. and i'll get her some other type treats, and try one of those balls that you fill with a treat. something to keep her 'occupied'

LOL , there's a bunch of us, that are MUCH older than you think :D hahahahaaa (not looking ) and I've been here 5 years, and there are times that I go crazy with doing 'achievement' stuff.

I'm lucky that most of the older subeautique wardrobe achievements, I have help from others here on subeta that have the sets, and I can borrow, get the achieve, and then return the clothes to them.

i'm especially grateful for that, because i don't LIKE most of those sets. lol

The cults went away, I gathered, when they added the forum groups feature. So a lot of cults changed over to forum groups. You can read about that in the forums quite a bit (that's the only way I know).

When I joined Subeta last March, the preview feature wasn't working... it was just a broken image for any item that was different if you had a male vs female HA. It worked for some players who'd been here longer because of caches or some stuff, I don't know exactly, but ... anyway, they fixed it and I have been enjoying the 'wardrobe' stuff more since then!

There are a heck of a lot of games, they aren't all much fun, and I really would like if they added a 'match 3' type because those are my favorite. But I enjoy the Divine Discs a lot (mastermind) and the Spindles (hanoi) is also pretty fun. I can't do the Saheric Slide, even the easy one, I have a mental block. Used to have one of those things in physical form and I hated its guts :D

I can do the sudoku one but I don't really enjoy it. Leviathan seems pointless but I can do it too. The spectrail is just like a really old game that used to come with windows... but harder? I can't really do that one either.

Anyway... I should try the potion game again since you gave me the hint on making it easier. I keep forgetting.

I slept most of today. I was sooo tired. no idea why... woke up at 9:30, fed cats (and got my token shop item), went back to bed, woke up again past 2.

was kind of "proud" of myself, that I actually didn't use any face or hair cw's. that's always the hardest for me, because i Like "contour" on my face. (heh. in real live, i have a 'round' face. hahahaaaa i dont' want REAL) :D

The hair is a redeemed Delish wig, right? It was really good. You can use it as a base if I have another costume contest with no CW rule and you want to enter :D

They should just give a subetan spin to old arcade games and work from there. Our own platformer, for example. Or a shooter pooyan-style game.

Yayy for Amazon!!!! It made my house value almost double in last few years cause we're in a Seattle suburb and Seattle is the home of Amazon, and all of the people they brought in from other places caused a housing shortage. (On the flip side the homeless crisis here is epidemic but a large part of that is doctors over-prescribing opiates...sorry almost got on a rant.)

If you look while in wardrobe it's much easier and you can just hover over the items and get a preview. Just uncheck the box that says: "Only show items you own"

I'm so jealous you went back to sleep! I don't know why I can't anymore...could be the a**holes next door that leave their dog outside barking for hours and he's right below where the head of my bed is. Grrrrrr!

I've got several "get back to sleep" techniques and usually one of them works.

No idea if these will work for you or if they're only successful with me:

1. write in my diary ... I visualize I'm opening a diary (that I don't really have) and writing something down in detail that happened recently... something boring and mundane, and writing it out in detail, and visualize each word as I write it.

2. breathing circles ... I imagine my breath going in and out of me in a circle .. in curve, out curve, as I breathe. I got this one from a meditation technique but it always made me sleepy when I used it while meditating so I repurposed it.

3. swimming - I imagine I'm floating in a pool... when I feel floaty enough I start to imagine I roll over and swim laps, staying focused on keeping my kicking and arm movements and head tilts and breathing in order (not doing any of it really, just imagining it... usually if it's working I can feel it even though it isn't happening... it's kind of fun, especially since I really suck at swimming in RL)

Yes!! Those all seem like meditation techniques because your ridding your mind of everything. The 3rd one is very similar to my visualization that I think I read it somewhere, I imagine I'm a leaf on on a creek or a river floating downstream...zzzzz ;-)

But anyway I could probably fall asleep but then the dog would start barking or then I wouldn't be able to sleep come night time. :-P

I'm going to try next time! I like it!

I'm lucky in that I rarely wake up from sounds like that. Sometimes when the trash collectors come, they make a ton of noise and it wakes me up, but that's about it. My husband's CPAP drowns out a lot of sounds I think..... it's loud but once I was able to ignore it and fall asleep, I think it actually helped me stay asleep, not just because it keeps him from snoring horribly either ;)

I had a snowstorm that had schools closed for three days... and worked every day of it (but from home, so I didn't actually leave my house till today when it had mostly been cleared up and melted)

Fences, we can do ourselves. For the roof, the landlady is in charge of, and she is constantly broke. At the time being, we have a small tube in the vestibule and a bucket in the living room for catching the water which comes down occasionally. She is a craftgirl herself and we hope when the weather clears, she´ll climb the roof and make the necessary reparatures and in spring, it´ll be mended for good.
