She did in fact break her hip and is going in for emergency surgery today DX

I’ll keep your grandmother in my thoughts! My grandma fell almost two years ago now & is doing a lot better now :)

I love the dustbunnies! So cute. In a game I used to play I was in a guild called "dustbunnies of chaos" and that evil dustbunny could've been its mascot :D

I would eat udon if I could find wheat-free udon... as it is I just make my grandmother's buckwheat recipe with gluten free pasta, that works out great. (wash the buckwheat, soak it in milk for an hour, then stir fry it in a whisked egg; then cook with water+seasoning, or broth (sort of like how you would cook rice/couscous/quinoa) with a small handful of fancy shaped pasta thrown in.

At least, I love it. My family doesn't - but it is so good reheated in the microwave that I'm kind of glad I get to eat it all ;)

Sorry to hear about your gramma and uncle :( Similar situation happened to my gramma on my dad's side, I heard that she once fell, but because it's in the middle of the night she didn't cry out or anything.....until hours later when an attendant walked by and saw her kneeling there, and so treatment is delayed :( she could've cried out for help but she doesn't want to because she didn't want to disturb anybody. we went home this past weekend and she can barely walk D:

oh my goodness I'm so sick... really bad cold since last Wednesday/Thursday... seems to have settled into my head tonight. The sore throat and coughing have been awful!

We went to bed as soon as we got home Saturday. Sunday was relaxing and grocery shopping.

Probably not! My grandma was in the hospital until they were sure she was okay, but she has a lot of initial complications, and then in a nursing home for rehab for about a month. Hopefully your grandma has a smooth process with everything.

Thanks me too. She will probably be moving in with someone at least for a little while. We took her cat home with us and she does NOT like my other cats DX

Oh no! That’s always a rough transition with pets. My grandma (and two uncles) had to move in with us temporarily during college & her dog didn’t like our dogs. So that was fun for like almost a year!! Hopefully they get used to each other if they have to stay around each other?

We used to have her cat for a while but she is really anti-social and pretty much hates all other animals. So i don't see it going smoothly ever lol. We left her in the bathroom today cause we didn't want them to get into a fight when we were not there
