I had a really good nap today :) I also bought the Big Issue magazine which had a fun QI quiz in it - mum and I went through and got a pretty good score. All in all a day full of lovely positive things.

I have mostly finished making gifts for my family. I am looking forward to them opening them up.

i made a familys night, by giving them free tickets to the galaxy of lights here in our city.

I got to see people dressed as Santa and a Christmas tree running around my town tonight. I managed to snap a crappy photo.

The department store I'm working at has hired me as permanent part-time! It's reassuring I don't have to rush to find a new job after the seasonal work is done, though I do need to find something more permanent/secure. BUT, yeah, really relieved about that.

Aw hey, that's great news! It's always so much easier to go job hunting when you have at least some source of income in the meanwhile.

i'm painting my nails with cool festive things! like a Santa jacket, and candy cane stripes (red/white as well as pale blue/white/silver) and hopefully some pretty snowflakes if they work out!

i took lots of pics of all our yummy food today to share with my bestie who lives so so gd far away, and i wanted her to feel included in our festivities because she's out there in the big bad world all by herself. i also recorded my two cats 'opening' their presents and having a play with their new toys, because even if she's not close enough to have rl snuggles, then at least i can pass on their cuteness through technology.
