My coffee is perfectly made this morning ❤️ and my aunt is coming home after nine days of being away !

we had a beautiful family dinner with my parents, brother, and his wife last night and then i came home and spent time with some new and old friends that live in my complex, and now i'm snuggling with my new kitten... squee

So I've got four kids; one of them is a new lil baby. The middle child before she was born is my only boy, who was so hoping I'd have another boy, and was very frustrated when it turned out I was having another girl. But once she was born, and now since, he's decided he loves her very much. He's nearly six, but he is very aware of how she is doing and if he can come talk to her if she's sad, and just being a kind big brother to her. He likes to say her eyes are "just so cute" and loves it if he can get her to hold his finger.

It's really sweet to see a gentle big brother.

(side note that's more funny than heartwarming, but he has also told me he hopes when* I have another baby, it'll be a girl! I asked him why he felt that way, and he said, "Well, last time, I wanted a boy, but you had a girl, so next time, if I want a girl, you'll have a boy!" On top of the fact that we know that biology almost certainly doesn't care about reverse psychology, it's pretty presumptuous to think I'm having another baby ever, haha.)
