If he weren't so young I would say lavender in his room to lull him to sleep, but lavender can be strong even for an adult. Perhaps when it is 70 the rocking chair will set him off to dreamland?

I mostly just follow when Mercury goes into retrograde because weird stuff happens then. And technology usually starts acting up. But yeah, def stressful...or at least I keep getting very pissed off at work. Not really at home...just work. But then the manager was gone for a week and I was stuck with both new people. The newer of the two learns faster and can do more stuff than the one that has been there for over 3 months now. I keep having to fix her work or telling her she needs to do this because she didn't do it initially. She also keeps putting the white point in the shadows which totally throws off the color on a print to print and that's if she even does the white point. But at least when she asks for help with those for why the color isn't looking right, I can tell her right off the bat what she did or didn't do when she shows what she just printed. She's also not tech savvy and I have to figure out what she even did to the computer. Although sometimes there are hilarious results with that. XD Although I still don't understand how she made folders and they wouldn't show up unless you were in another program trying to open a file that was in that folder...I even made a new folder in the same place and it ended up doing the same thing. O.o No Idea what was going on there. Basically I gave up trying to make a folder on the desktop and just went to the Network Export and made a folder there with no issues of it disappearing on me.

Sorry for the rant...this has been going on a while and I have no one to rant to. :/

I cannot stand incompetent coworkers - especially ones who've had time to learn but don't.

And feel free to rant away. I have a coworker that I wish we'd just fire. I'd rather do her job and my job during our sale nights than deal with her consistently screwing up over and over - especially since it's been literal years and she's actually getting worse.

He is normally like that and he probably doesn't want to miss things happening. Tonight we gave him a bottle with baby cereal in it for the first time and he took it very well! No spit ups except when he burped, but he is asleep, so we will see how long he sleeps.

Oof. That's horrible. Yeah, I know my co-worker is worse when she's in that fibro fog. Which that I'm fine with because I know that is a thing. She's actually on disability and has other things going on health wise as well. But both me and the manager have shown her the same thing multiple times and there are just some things she still doesn't get. And I kinda also have to be nice to her because I'm friends with her daughter. And her daughter used to work there. Which I know there are times when no one else is there she comes in and will help her mom. Especially if a machine isn't working right AKA spitting out error codes.

Speaking of error codes, the main printer has been randomly jamming when you first turn on the computer in the morning. And it only wants to do it when the manager isn't there. She did manage to fix that when she opened the last time because she watched me do it and get so frustrated with the printer one that. There was no paper in the entire printer and it was complaining it was! I spent an hour messing with different sections and turning the breaker off then back on multiple times throughout it all before it was like "okay, i'm happy not that you've wasted all this time and most of your orders are now late or will be late because you don't have enough time to complete them now." -_- Then ten minutes later it ran out of paper. Good thing about at that time I was the only one that knew how to change the paper so i got to go into the bathroom where we change paper because it is the darkest room and we have a shelf to do it on so i could be by myself and relax while changing the paper in the dark. It's light sensitive paper. Our paper gets developed for printing. Or at least for up to an 11x14. It's supposed to print up to a 12x18 but it scratches all of those so we still use our poster printer for those which is just an ink jet.

I know of this "Eh." Feeling. It has been quite the friend. I'm glad that you go on and I hope that things become easier or at least calmer for you. J deserves the best ♡

Yeah, I can understand having bad pain days - I've got torn muscles so I have them too. But sometimes people just....don't ever do their best or put in any effort.

I honestly hate the huge printers sometimes. We've got one at work and it'll just...jam out of the blue and then you'll clear it and it'll act like there's still a jam when there isn't. I have to fight with it all the damn time. So annoying. I'm sorry yours is such a temperamental brat too. And it's irritating when they only don't work when the manager isn't around to see.

Sorry to hear you're having issues w a coworker - it sounds like partially the "brain fog" you mentioned but then again you also said she's been instructed multiple times... it's hard sometimes to be patient with people even with understanding... mine wears super thing way too often ;P

We really did want to give you an awesome farewell issue, we had a checklist and everything of what to include for a great ending. But even if we wanted to come out of retirement, I think my above post to the Empress may have sealed the nails in The Peppers coffin....

Yeah. Torn muscle is no fun! I don't think I've ever had that, but I could definitely see the pain on that. Although I have had surgery to have a bone set and they had to cut through muscle and everything else to get to that...so I probably do have an inkling of how bad that is. I'm right handed and I broke my right wrist. Cold or damp rather can wreak havoc on it.

So basically it is a big printer thing? Today it was the film processor being a brat. I think my coworkers hate me...I've been pissy all day about it and some of it fell over onto them. Apologized for it though. I'm sure customers could tell I was completely frustrated too. It better work tomorrow. If it doesn't, I refuse to touch it until the manager gets there at noon. Then I'll pounce on him and be all "I'M DONE WITH THE FILM PROCESSOR!!! YOU!" -points at manager- "MAKE IT HAPPY NOW!" -storms off- Doing that isn't beneath me. XD

Technology is against us! It's plotting our demise!! O.o

I received word from one of the grad schools I'm applying to has received all of my material and my application is under review. I'm not accepted (yet!) however this is a great first step on the journey!
