, : I remember [item2=Love Truck] Camping Trip. Andreas and I ran that one and we had a blast. The forum group is still intact although I cannot find any evidence of the forum in the history.
IT was such a blast!:) It probably got lost when they updated the forums... sighZ... But Seriously i will start a group to Road trip.... Soon if nothing happens next week.... Cus.... We all love wayward squirel and i ish got to do something.
Yay about Lucifer! Glad you guys are going to get some kind of closure I hope
Love truck camping trip? I must have missed it, Cousin, but it sounds like it was a blast. I've got an smail into GR just to ask if she's okay. I'm a good catglares in challenge

I just became so overwhelmed with things and for a brief moment the only way out to just get away was that. I knew instantly it couldn't be but it was still there.
I watched the 2 part premiere. It is crazy. I also got really emotional when that Sam girl/robot was talking to the HOH Tyler guy about feeling left out. I started to tear up. Turns out my female curse was starting and my emotions super high but still. Im like OMG what a major D-bag to nominate her after she opened up like that.
Oh me too. It ended on such a crazy note. I REALLY REALLY hate when shows just up and get canceled. There should be a rule if a show gets canceled a station is OBLIGATED to allow at least a 2 hour series finale movie so the show can TRY to wrap things up for their loyal fans. It just pisses me off that they keep adding Bachelor/Bachelorette and singing competition shows and get rid of other things. Its like WTF how many of the same show can you really have.

: I am not a member of the cult ASP, so I cannot read the ASPChatter forum. (sniff)
You must become a member! Let's ping and see if we can get you onto the ASP Cult :)
How are you doing? Having a good summer so far?
Oh my, yes, Freddie, let's get you signed up for ASP! I had just told our sister that if we gamed we'd have to weaselnap you and Welly to join us
I understand, D. The first 5 years are the hardest, heck the first 10, you can function as long as you stay busy, but they still pretty much suck

It'd be a fun game too, I bet :D I love playing with friends!
Speaking of friends... Guess who will be flying into LA at the end of August and hanging out for awhile and then driving up the coast to either Washington or Oregon?
: Um....Let me guess....Chat?, Lovecraft, Donald Trump? Are you saying that you are going to Washington or Oregon at the end of August?
I'm having a good summer so far. On Friday, Glitter and her father (my Author) got Weldon and me up at 5:00 AM to go have coffee and breakfast at a restaurant that was hosting a remote radio show from one of Fresno's top radio new-rock radio personalities. Then they drove us up to see Grandmama Donna in Lodi. Then we drove up to Folsom (near the State Capitol of Sacramento) to meet another Subeta friend and to exchange some NPET game items. you should see the NEO
)
Finally, we loaded up a trailer full of furniture and drove all the way back to Fresno where Weldon and I are staying during the next week. It was a busy day and we got home about 10:30 PM, but we had great food and icy drinks and saw weird humans driving like crazy Russian drivers on the freeway and a huge grass fire that made the sky smoky for 300 miles and Weldon and I cuddled in the back seat of the truck. We may go up to Bass Lake for the firework show on the 4th.
Not this kind of firework show
Like the Bass Lake Fire five years ago....
: I would love to game. What game? You do not have to weasel-nap Welly and me, we are willing participants to any adventure.
Yes, yes yes. I need to belong to # ASPchatter. I am an adult. I play Subeta. (there are no real asps, right? I don't like snakes.)
: My dear, may I join ASPchatter? When it first formed, I followed the forum, but I didn't join the ping group for some reason. I can certify that I am an adult and that I play Subeta.
It's Eric and I! :D
Here's what we have so far. Any ideas on where to stay, eat, visit, see would be great :D

Also, your adventure sounds wonderful :) I love getting up early for a good breakfast with friends and family! And Chat and I are talking about Dungeons and Dragons
You don't have to be part of ASP to read the board. Should be in same thread area as here. Besides cults were done away with. Simply groups now. Just like left. Tea_roll isn't part of ASP but she always ninjaing there. She even tricked them into letting her in the fb page. Lol
I left the ASP and ASPCHatter groups and cannot read the posts. I get Oh No! You aren't a member of this forum group with the 409 experiment lol

i am surprised the punishements last until live eviction night! Big brother is on in a few hours!!! can't wait! After dark is crazy i saw it... a few days ago and then realized i dont want any spoilers right now.
: There are a lot of bargains to be had in Carmel-By-The-Sea. This one comes to mind. It's right in the heart of Carmel. Of course there are many others (The Stage Coach Lodge and the Lone Oak Lodge in Monterey come to mind, this is just one Kitchy one. Across the street in downtown Carmel is a bunch of really good restaurants like this one . My favorite, Merlot Bistro closed last year (sniff).
My Author has stayed at the Merriot Monterey, the DoubleTree Inn near the Wharf, but they can be pricy. The best place they stayed at was The Embassy Suites Monterey. They had made-to-order breakfast with everything you could possibly want in a breakfast, and an evening reception (drinks and snacks!) and it was just two blocks from the beach at Seaside.
You have a lot of time to research, but I can honestly say that there is very little that is lousy in Monterey or Carmel, even the Motel 6, Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn and other corporate hotels are good. It's a very competitive market, so there is a lot of incentive to be clean, smoke-free, comfortable and bargain oriented. There are always great bargains to be had, especially in the off season, or weekdays. Plan ahead, make reservations.
If you want stellar seafood, you must eat at Phil's Fish Market in Moss Landing Weldon and I got to eat there last year (talk about weasel heaven...I thought I had died.) It's all about the fish...and live music in the evenings. Best Beach Cafe In The World. It's not in Monterey or Carmel and it's a bit of a drive just to go there to eat, but if you're heading out, it's a fantastic place to stop. It's world famous.
Napa Valley is wonderful! My Author and his mate Francine went to college there in the 1970's and his brother is a chef in the area. There are many many great places to eat, it's like California's Foodie Grand Central Station. Napa isn't where it's all at, it's in places like St. Helena and Yountville. The Wine Train is fun, but rather touristy. Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen is run by one of St. Helena's best restauranteur, Cindy Pawlcyn, a friend of my Author's brother. My Author and his mate have eaten at Cindy's and loved the food. And, it wasn't outrageously expensive. Her other famous restaurant Mustard's Grill is a bit pricier ($35+) but well worth it if you are a foodie. It's very famous.
I wouldn't know where to stay, but if you are going and your Hubby is tasting the wine, it's nice to find a good place to stay. I would stay in St Helena or Healdsburg rather then Napa because of the scenery.
A lot of tourism has been scared off by the recent fires in the area, but don't let that throw you off, there is still a lot to see on your whirlwind tour of Northern California. Fort Bragg area is a fun stop, a little harbor town with a "glass beach" that you can pick sea glass up and keep. Mendocino is just south of Fort Bragg and has a score of little B+Bs to stay. Toss a dart on the map and you'll never miss finding some place good to eat.
I don't know much about San Francisco, only cousins Bosco and Brenda went there and they said that it was like a different world. They got there by riding in the back of pickup trucks, riding on top of luggage racks and riding in a VW mini van that was filled with a lot of funny smelling smoke. (they didn't remember that part of the trip much.) The weren't allowed into any buildings, had to climb the building on the outside to make the appointment they had, had to leap out the window into a tall cake to escape capture and share peanuts with the ill mannered red squirrels in the downtown city park. I would stay away from San Francisco unless you like squirrel nuts.
That's just a start. I may be small, but I have traveled well with my Author and his mate. If you want to know about the fishing in all those areas, I'm your weasel-girl. (hint...you are not allowed to dive naked in any city water fountain...you will get arrested and there are no fish there for some reason.) If I think of any other helpful travel tips, I'll let you know!
@@ Cousin Freddie, I love you, but did you just type my username in the same breath as The Donald's? Such a mean weaselcriesbut still, family is family, so..., mew Mistress your Prince has never asked for anything, never demanded so please send my an invite to ASP, pretty please with seared abalone on top
5am is way early, but it sounds like it was worth it. I absolutely love the cutout of the Dark Faeries, I have some issues with that site, but also have some very fond memories, fortunately my favorite people from there are Subetans
You rat! I'm going to be in Spokane, WA at the end of this month for business. San Diego is just awesome, go check out Coronado Beach, very wealthy area and a freaking gorgeous beach! Chula Vista is kind of sketchy, lots of gangs. OMG! Santa Cruz! Go check out Santa Cruz and Santa Barbara. The City (San Francisco) is incredible! There are some places that are dangerous after dark, the Tongs are very strong in China Town, so if you go for authentic Chinese food, take a cab or Uber, even if its a few blocks. Pinky swear it?
Lol true story, the first time I was in The City, I stepped out of my hotel and there were naked bicyclists. LOL Only in San Fran!
How odd, I left LRVT last year and can post/get pinged but isn't ASP semi-private?
Formerly known as Habeebi
We aren't going there until end of August though, wouldn't you be back before then? Naked bicyclists?! Oh goodness! So basically some of the public transportation in some parts of San Fran and then a cab for other parts? China Town sounds cool! Probably during the day then? I'll write down your suggestions too. keep 'em coming if you have more :)
Thank you for all of the suggestions! I'll need to write them all down and then get all of the suggestions on FB too from friends and family.
Oh I guess that is if they are using that Private Board. IDK. I haven't really chatted in ASP in forever and a day. Im still a member (unless I got booted).
UGH! What crap is this! The show should have had no competition no eviction no nothing. Just did the app thing. NOW have to wait til Wednesday. This is not cool.
...um...yes, for the sake of non-sequitur as a humorous device. My apologies if I erred and upset you.
Naked bicyclists? My Author's other brother was an architect in SF and he mentioned something about taking part in the naked bicycle rally they would hold in protest of super-sized meals, CO2, George Bushes and such things.
: If you do go to Santa Cruz, the Harbor Cafe has the best coffee and breakfast in town. Get there early, this place gets very busy with locals. Not too pricy, fantastic food, lots of dietary choices.
Also in Santa Cruz, as featured in Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, is Santa Cruz Diner . It's an American diner with a Santa Cruz twist. Weldon and I got to go there with my Author and Francine last year and I got the Polynesian Burger. I had to take a weasel-bag and stockpile it in our motel room refrigerator and I ate on it for three days...nom!
Lest you think that all we do is travel, you have to understand that Fresno is only about two hours from Monterey. They will often just do a day trip to see the ocean, eat at a different restaurant and come home in time to do a midnight swim.
: Darling, how are you doing? Thank you for your ASP advice. I'm looking into it presently. I'm getting sleepy, I just had an ale and watched Silas Marner with Ben Kingsley. (snore). And it'w 1:25 in the morning. And I have to get up and work for half a day during my holiday.
