I'm for that! what are we talking about? oh. who cares. JUST OPEN THAT WINE!
:D :D :D
Yes! Come join and I in opening all these wine bottles :D We'll have yummy foods and drinks all night!
OH YUM!!! I'LL BE HERE! :D
(when? lol) .
I've got a book, and TWO boxes of wine, and TONS of food to munch on!! I've made 2 different "meatballs and dippers" both "mexican" style. I thought 1 was going to be really hot. but hahahaaaa NO WERE NEAR HOT!
plus i made myself some of my rachael ray meatballs and wine sauce. heh. but they will be gone by this afternoon :D (even though, i DID put some in the freezer for later)
still have my deviled eggs to make. and i'm going to make some sausage balls. but the man found some "already made" genoa salami wrapped around string cheese. and a prosciutto (how ever) around string cheese. hehehehehe that's not how i do my "salami and cheese" but that's ok. less for me to do, and the boy will probably eat it. (so will jim) plus he brought home a little "already made" sliced cheese, summer sausage cracker tray" so that's even LESS work for me to do and MORE food to eat. lol
we're just going to have a roasted chicken from the deli for xmas dinner :D hahahaaaa
i'll make some sides (yams, mashed potatoes, corn, roasted veggies) and that will be it, along with all the "munchies"
since it's just the boy and the man and I, that will be more than enough for eats.
We'll just come over to your place! Finger foods are always the best and easiest to make :D I've seen and bought the packaged prosciutto and cheese. They do make for a quick easy meal. I need to find some finger foods for tomorrow evening, but with you mentioning meatballs, I may get out the crockpot and make something easy.
oooooo, the kids and I love the Cranberry Meatballs!! and ITS SO EASY TO MAKE! and PERFECT for an "all day" crockpot.
the only reason i didn't make them this time, is that i was trying to do some "real meatballs for the man" heh. and he doesn't even really like them. figures. :D
for the cranberry meatballs, i just buy a package of already made up meatballs in the grocerys. make sure they are thawed. throw them in a crockpot, with a can of JELLED cranberry sauce. brown sugar (hah. i'll have to look. maybe 1/2 cup? i don't remember.) and some lemon juice. (? a tablesp?) lol and a jar of chili sauce (usually i just get the store brand, both in in the chili sauce /there next to ketchups and stuff/ and cranberry sauce)
2TABLESPOON brown sugar 1 TABLESPOON lemon juice.
How do the cranberry meatballs taste? I told Eric about them and he said they sounded sweet. They seem easy enough :)

Some of the gifts I made. I have horrible brushes, they came from the dollar store. Then this morng one of my really good friends brought out my Christmas gift, it was new art supplies and fancy brushes! I can't wait to use them! Not bad for never having an art class... Just youtube videos to learn from.
,, OOooo, those are NICE!
. they are not to sweet, because of the chili sauce and lemon. (you can use less brown sugar)
the 'mexican' balls i made, was ground meat (i used hamburger) taco seasoning :( and something else. lol something i had in my pantry. i'll look.
OH HERE!! LOL

I didn't add all those jalapeno's and you can tell. they are NO WHERE NEAR Hot.
and the others are really just very mild.
i'll have sour cream, guacamole (got the 'already made' stuff) and then i'll make a sour cream and sriracha. so i'll have 3 types of "dip" they can stick their meatball in.
Those are beautiful! I'm going to make my stuff later on today.
Thanks for the recipes! I'll have to try them all. Eric just wants normal bbq meatballs for tomorrow and I found an easy recipe for them
oh that's cool! , where's the recipe? i'll look it up and add it to my "meatball" category. :D the only thing is. the man doesn't really like 'bbq' (I KNOW!!! WTH!! HOW did i even THINK about marrying him??!!!! no Sauce! no BBQ! no Chinese!) /oh wait. it was the sex. that's right. the only reason i married him/
hahahaaaaaaaaaa
TMI!! HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA
:D
ok. going to TRY to make my deviled eggs now. HA!
Here's the recipe I found
closes ears I didn't hear that part HAHAHA!
Good luck with the deviled eggs! I just learned how to boil an egg last time I was at my parents house and make sandwiches after they were done.
thanks! I'm learning slowly... showing my age haha. I've always been able to draw but never paint. I'm old school give me paper a pencil and a pen and I can do anything I set my mind to... paint is an all new adventure.
will there be snacks at our own private happy hospital?
A lot of my old school is with construction paper. My parents still have some of my art on the freezer haha. It's fun learning new art mediums. The project I'm doing uses molding clay, so that'll be interesting.
I've always wanted to try clay... I bet your having fun. Eventually I'm gping to take a graphic design class... probably when the kids are older and I can focus on something for more than a few minutes at a time.
After week I'm about to have I'm gonna need stronger then wine.
those are beautiful
. Wine? Food? Sign me up! covers eyes i didnt see that
