: Weldon and I are doing just fine, I'm busy this winter here at Healer's Hall as we've had an influx of pregnancies and colds all at the same time. It's been a mild winter so far, and the younger of our community have been playing human-style gridiron football, so we've seen quite a few broken toes, sprained ankles, tested knees and of course bruised egos. We too are keeping watch for the cordovavirus...condomavirus...cornholevirus...THE VIRUS as there is some discussion that if it could be transmitted from one small animal, like a bat, to humans, then could it spread from humans to small animals. I mean, it's not like we see a lot of humans up here...but we will be diligent. We recommend to all our families that frequent bathing is essential. Of course, for Weldon, he would take that to the extreme and bath every twenty minutes...dragging me with him. ( he's naughty...snicker )

My three youngest offspring, Bucky, Sami, and Glenda have all passed their apprenticeship examinations this Winter and have taken on new situations. Sami is working as a Journey-Level I scribe's-assistant to my brother, Master of Lore and History up at Lore Master's Hall. Glenda is paying off her apprentice fees by working for the Master Luthier while she finishes her preparations for taking her Journey Level II exams next Winter. Bucky is teaching Basic Civics at Glen Meadow Home, where all apprentice candidates go to learn our culture, economics and history. He is very good with the youngsters.

Weldon is teaching advanced flight dynamics at the Watcher Air Corps aerodrome (it sounds fancy, but it's essentially a buch of kites in a cave ). He is the first of our kind to attempt/fail, survive/attempt again/succeed at flying any kind of aircraft. (What may be even more astounding is the story of how Lizzi Leastweasel actually designed and built an airworthy aircraft that a small animal could fly...but I digress, as usual). Suffice it to say that Weldon knows a thing or two about flying and crashing with style. In his off time, he smokes his pipe too much trying to look scholarly. He's cute, but he's just a country boy in a flight jacket.

Weldon and I will be flying to Subeta again this year ( our 10th?? ) and I will try to make him look presentable. He is a handsome devil and a mighty fine dancer. If we're lucky, maybe the orchestra could compel him to sing. He does a killer rendition of "It's gotta be you" that will make you swoon.

: I do have lots of very fine fur care products, nothing but the best for the Queen of the tribe...Lavender oil, aloe, rose water, pine tar, bear grease, bacon drippings, gooseberry water, lambs tongue. They all make me feel and smell so pretty!

: Mr Newsome, the ruler of the land of California where I live, ordered everybody to shelter in place and to hold each other accountable to do so, no cheating. Also, he estimates that 56% of the humans will get the virus within 8 weeks. Some of my human friends are digging out their crafting boxes, glue, popsicle sticks, felt, pipe cleaners, etc.

it's also eerie because some of the symptoms they day with this virus I get with my seasonal allergies this 5ime of year

Bavaria is trying to do a similar thing here. Luckily I don't live there, I'm based in North-Rhine-Westphalia ^^ I end up doing a lot of art each day tho
