I really, REALLY wanna learn how to play the drums ;A; but I don't even have a set to practice with

Like a a lot of people here I want to improve my sewing skills. I'm unfortunately not very good. Although I have a sewing machine and it's really just procrastination and fear of failure keeping me from actually working on it. I also want to improve my crochet and knitting. I think crochet is going way better than knitting. But I want to learn knitting for my granny. She passed away this year and she was really good at it. So I feel like that will connect us somehow. I really miss her. Other than that there are tonnes of things i want to learn. I am doing a lot of baking at the moment, some vegan some not. And I find vegan baking super intriguing. So I wanna keep at it. I'd also really like to learn how to make my own jewelry. I have dabbled but I'd really like to work on it some more. Again procrastination and fear of failure.... and the fact I want to do so many things all of which require a boat load of expensive equipment.... xD
I'd like to get into writing (fictional) stories. I've always had a strong passion for anything fantasy plus a head full of ideas but i havent actually written any stories in like half my lifetime lmao
and also learning new languages! i'd love to improve my french, it's pretty shit atm hahaha
Will sell soul for :')
Photography :) I've been practicing it for over a year now, but there is still so much to learn! Macro, astro, landscapes, nature, and, most importantly, composition. Then there's the editing and printing.
But I've definitely learned a lot so far and can see some improvement when compared to 15 months ago :P
Watercolor would be nice, too. I like the 'look' of watercolor pieces.
There's a ton of stuff I want to learn to do but my main goals are learning to draw people/bodies and playing the violin.
I already draw but I'm not exactly "skilled" in the way I want, but I'm working on it. I've actually been drawing some of my HAs (only 1 finished) and I find it helps a lot.
As far as the violin goes, I own one and have taken lessons. But now it's out of tune and I can't seem to get it back hahaha.
I've also been thinking about working on crocheting again and might try to learn how to make little figures or plushies~~
I would love to learn how to sew and play the guitar.
I would like to improve my writing (especially in English) and write more fiction. Also improve my drawing. I wish I had more time to do it all.
I mostly taught myself how to take photographs and practice really makes perfect!! Just take your camera with you wherever you go and take as many photos as you can.
I'd love to practice my drawing skills and I always loved photography. I'd be really happy with a new camera to get into it again. Also a dream of mine is to play an instrument. Piano is just incredible but I think it's kinda impossible. But I have an ukulele <3
Thanks for the site. After I get my bachelors degree I will totally get back to ukulele. Now I'm super busy and can't even draw. I have almost no free time :<
Saved the site. Looks great. Have you learnt there something?
Pixel art. I used to be decent at it but I haven't attempted it for like 4 years so :o I want to start up again.
I would like to learn how to play the violin (I currently have one, but haven't sat down to learn anything on it yet), learn how to code (I've got the basics down - but I could definitely learn more), and expand on my writing and artistic abilities. I'm a fairly creative person, but I just don't have the time to do most of what I'd like to do. >:
yo mistuh white
I'd like to push myself to paint detailed pictures on glass and canvas, play the piano (have one, don't practice enough) and learn to do at least some simple animations. I've currently started sewing a bit- I'm not that good but I have a lot of fabric to practice on and I think it'd be nice to keep up with it.
I would love to lean how to sew cloths so I can make cloths and possible cosplay stuff. Then there's calligraphy which I would love to learn. Other then that it's programming.
I would love to learn how to sew well enough to make my own clothes, and I'd love to learn how to embroider as well. My mother taught me how once but I've forgotten quite a bit!
I want to learn how to code, but I am lazy, so...
[Kiss=Leila], available for a limited time this holiday season.
Oh, there's so much actually...
cello
hurdy-gurdy
bassoon
drawing (hahahaha)
coding
Have I started to learn anything yet? No. I need a clock with 72 hours per day. sighs
I really want to learn how to knit and/or crochet. And cake decorating. I took a cake decorating class a long time ago but I didn't really use the skill, so I lost it.
to improve upon: --writing --drawing --sewing --cooking --singing --coding --building computers --game console & accessory repair (can currently only do older console/accessory and new accessory repairs) --acting --photography --dancing --self-defense
want to learn: --drums --metalworking --proper kickboxing --how to swim (i don't include doggy paddling because my back always seems to sink and i'm basically just treading water and moving very slowly LOL) --proper social protocol
