Some songs that have greatly impacted me are trapped in my memory. Some are instrumental and some just elude my efforts to identify. I have tried using my phone, but I don't think I'm doing this correctly. Plus how do I search instrumental without a recording?

Woo this is late. I am sorry. But like humming it to one of those apps? I don't have any music apps outside the google one so I can't help. But I have seen someone like hum a song and then the app try to find it. Shazam? maybe?

Good news is that the doctor ruled out Liver Failure. Still going to get a colonoscopy in 2 weeks, but now no more liver biopsy. Just more bloodwork because it could be wilsons diease.

I've learned to be patient with responses, its not like I'm on so frequently. This however is the closest I have to human interaction, so I tend to give it some degree of gravity.

I took 15 to find a song, and I found it by accident. But your suggestion can't help since the music I want to find hasn't been played for years. Some that I do wish to find isn't played often enough. Figures...

I meant like if you know the tune in your head, convert it to sheet music and look it up that way. Not sure if I am making sense or how musically inclined you are. But surely if you had sheet music, you could find based on sheet music. I wish you luck though! I know how frustrating it can be. I wish shazam was better at it? I am not even sure if that is the right app.

Though I can recall a tune well enough, I never learned musical notation.

The real drag is finding that the song isn't available to purchase. My wishlist song is such, I may never find another copy. But at least there's youtube.

Several songs are outside of being buyable. But then again, some are foreign or from soundtracks that are out of print.
