I honestly have no idea. I usually just try to make friends with my coworkers and then like a parasite make friends with their friends. However, pretty sure I am the youngest employee and the majority of coworkers are also from out of state. So like they too are trying to make friend circles. I am still hoping that one of the meet up apps will work out. It also sucks because I get a ton of creepy messages. I am looking for a friend group that will accept both me and my husband. So I wish you a ton of luck! If you find a good app or like a general idea of hey I did this and met so and so. I have no idea where to go to meet people.

Oh, boy trying to meet people when its obvious they're too busy with their devices (literal and figurative). I just stay away from that. But it doesn't help that I have few interests. All I know is I won't leave you hanging because of some dumb excuse.

Oh yeah they are definitely glued to a screen. We used to go the gym and I tried be friendly there but those people were too into the gym. I got sick and am not allowed to work out to prevent further injury to my liver. So it sucks.

Sports, video games, TV, movies I don't like any of that. I prefer to think it reduces the bad choices. And there are so many bad choices.

The absence of common interests leaves me with something...I just haven't found many yet.

Eeek at the liver! I shall cross my fingers and my toes that they figure out wth is going on and can fix it!

As for the gym thing, yes, most people just want to come in, do their thing and get out. XD I'm usually telling myself to move my carcass just a leetle while longer, but I also like bringing a gym buddy when I can. I have shut guys down because I sometimes can't tell if they're being friendly or flirting and I'd rather not have to find out the hard way. But I think i'd be open if a lady struck up a convo about something.

Ehh common interests are not often that amazing.

There are very few girls at the gym. I am also like awkward around women. I have an easier time with dudes, but it is worrying to avoid flirting and whatnot. And yeah the darn liver is still a butt.

So we moved to the master bedroom and it has a alot more windows. Right now when the wind is howling there is this annoying squeaking noise from one of them, but Dean is passed out and it is dark and i'm not willing to get my PJ's hems wet again to go see if I can fix it, which means waiting until tomorrow.

....I'm also still needing like.. 790 battles with giant jelly and have no idea if i'll get there. XD Life has been intruding!

We're mostly all awkward. I'm a little less awkward now, but that's because as i've gotten older, i've gotten more of a...attitude about it. =0P

Egad! I'm more comfortable around women. In my life I'm outnumbered, only nieces among my siblings. Most of the older relatives I do see are my aunts. As for flirting, I'm safe in my average state. I prefer to be attractive by accident, as if that's possible. Nothing yet.

Gym my ass, I prefer old fashioned manual labor. I get weird looks when I can handle something like shoveling dirt or mixing concrete for hours. I grew up doing this, I feel fine. When I wash my hands and making the water black, I feel like I'm worth my salt.

There's nothing wrong with me. I am human, right?

I'm afraid my fair tuchus would fry out in the sun (I also use an acne cream that takes the pale skin into the princess and pea zone for sun rays). As a kid I loved helping my dad out in the garden and around the house, but now that i'm the adult? I'd rather go park my buns in the AC on an elliptical. =0P ..I'd also make a terrible handyman, I'm just not very good at those sorts of things. For me, an achievement was taking off and replacing my doorknob. XD

I thought the same when I was asked to dismantle a car. I just want some strength, not sculpted whatever. I still do gardening, and livestock, and just about most of the housework.

I'm glad the sumner inferno is almost over, time to break out the blankets and extra layers. I tend to whine about a season just before it ends, unlike some who want cheese before it even begins.

Well, any activity is better than none. I need more since I have no interest in almost anything.

I love the cold. Fall is my favorite season, with winter a close second. I usually only kvetch about the ice and snow because I'm not good at driving in it and neither is anyone else around here. XD When it snows, it's terrible. THe roads, the people, all of it. I don't care if you freeze me, because i'll just snuggle under layers and break out my heated mattress pad, but I hate being roasted, 'cause you can't peel off skin.

Oh, yes winter. I still have a hard time staying indoors, even then. But I love bundling, wearing my coats, and seeing my breath. And chopping firewood is such good therapy, I'm never irate in winter.

Well, I may need to restate myself, I can't stay indoors during daylight hours. Its harder still to be inactive, especially when its late. Its hell when I can't sleep.

I may want to reload my winter shots from 2015, it snowed nicely then.

Using friends to make friends makes sense. That's how I met my girlfriend, sort of. We worked together, but mostly started hanging out because of a mutual friend. Yeah, apps can be weird! I used to be on a dating app and sometimes I had really good conversations but people were also really weird sometimes. I mostly wanted to meet people in the area but it didn't really pan out long term. My areas super small and rural, so, I know a bunch of people and don't like them lol. It's hard to go out without running into people I dislike or who are judgmental. Random note: You have some really great pets! Sperm, Flatulence, Chiroptera, ...! I see you picked up Newbie, too!

W-D40 those creeky windows. Hopefully, it is nothing major. But ooo look at you guys moving into the big room. Love multi layers. Even if it is hot at night I still need a blanket. Something comforting about it. Thank you for the compliment on the pets. I have so many projects right now. However, I will eventually complete them all! Yeah, I am just a little sad because before we left new york, we established a group of co-worker friends. Now they all hang out and have a social life together and we are hundreds of miles away alone. We keep getting their snaps and going, oh man we missed it! We miss them. Trying to get them all to move over here to hang out again.

I think it's mostly the elephant ears hitting the window/screen. I can't see anything the matter. XD That just makes it more obnoxious. HOwever, I have gotten jelly-butt to the 5M threshold with Chiana and I am so happy to see his backside. ...I kinda want to make a pan of strawberry jello, just so I can eat it and pretend I"m murdering him a little with every bite. =0P

Also, I totally make friends through friends, it's called networking! In fact my current best friend came about because one of my really good friends was friends with him. I love meeting friends of friends.

Yeah we snap daily but it is really depressing to see pictures of them all hanging out and us being here. I moved to Tennessee. Networking is easier when you have friends. Still trying to make one in Tennessee to then meet other people.

Friend by association...I haven't seen much out of that. Then again, I haven't seen much of those guys for a while.
